Schizo, you have a good point. Peaceful solutions are the best solutions. As for the Orwellian Nightmare, just because I've got nothing to hide, doesn't mean I'm gonna show everyone... How do you secure a nation of free people? An armed and vigilant populace that's how. No restrictions on protected speech (hate speech and advocating the violent overthrow of the government, are not protected), acceptance that people are fundamentally flawed, and the protection of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Free the market, better our education, and reduce government interference in the lives of citizens. That's how you do it. More troops under arms, and mandatory military service for everyone (doesn't have to be active duty, it doesn't even have to be long, 2 years active duty, or 4 years guard or reserve minimum). A relatively fit, trained, armed, and vigilant society, is what we used to be, we should be again. -
I thought the Ark of Stars was a nice way to tie up the voyage home, giving us some more substance other then the little bits of stuff that happened in the last few episodes...

I suppose that makes sense. The 19 supposedly didn't need additional boosters, and in fact since it didn't have the ISC system (to my knowledge it never gained it either), boosters would only strain the pilot correct? I mean the thrust to weight ratio is already up there, I mean the VF-17 produced more thrust, but it had more mass to push so that makes sense. The VF-25 produces ridiculous amounts of thrust, more than twice what the Y/VF-19A/B/C/D did ( at least according to Macross Mecha Manual). It has the ISC system, so it's handled, but unmodified that amount of thrust would crush any normal human pilot right? So Why boosters on the VF-19Advance (aside from the rule of cool)?

For only appearing in the one episode it sure made a big splash.

Oh, I agree they're going to do the heck out of some repaints, and maybe some slight re-molds (like the YF-25, RVF-25, and VF-25G/A). I'm just saying that it would be nice to see some new stuff too, and some fixed older stuff.

I'm with you there bud. I don't have a CF VF-171 because of Jenius's review. The exploded thigh at the gerwalk joint, nope. I got the Alto VF-171EX for just that reason. If they fixed the VF-171 cannon fodder I'd get one, especially if it came with super parts, because I want those big missiles...

Aircraft Super Thread Mk.VII

What we do, is sit on our hands, because the American people don't want another war, because they have been fooled into thinking that peace is the natural order of things... What we should do, is roll our entire bomber fleet out through Guam, loaded with conventional weapons, and all limitations removed, and turn Beijing into a parking lot. Then with precision air strikes, using our F-15's and F-16's (because the F-35 isn't combat ready yet and the F-22 fleet will be grounded because of some issue or other), we eliminate factories producing war material. Then we land forces in the Chinese mainland and using A-10's to clear the way, roll our forces right into the major cities and proceed to kill every last pocket of resistance the PLA can muster. We then occupy the country, and subjugate the people and make sure the country belongs to us, then we can go about setting up a new government. Again though only after we own the country. We don't defeat the enemy, we crush him, by destroying his will and ability to resist. That's what we do... -
My dad acted in community theater while he was in the military, so why not. Also, Isamu as a father figure... That would be a sight... There you go... Bandai has an excuse because they have the license to produce valks from Macross 30. Just out of curiosity, did the YF-19 paint scheme show up there? I haven't played the game, for lack of a PS3 and japanese language skills... As for what's next? How about a fixed reissue of the VF-171 CF, bundled with the super parts set?

Possibly enhanced sensors? So that they're actually Fuel And Sensor Tactical packs?

So what we need is a Frontier production that shows someone flying a VF-22S (customized to look like a YF-21). Maybe the son of Guld Goa Bowman? He and Myung did do the horizontal tango before he died, and It wouldn't be the first time a guy raised his dead best friend's son... Wouldn't that be a great tie in...

So I was over in the Macross Delta thread, and it was mentioned that Macross 7 had two love triangles, but I'm drawing a blank. Can someone tell me what they are?- 6983 replies
