Honestly, My Yamato stuff looks great, but the playability isn't as great at the Bandai toys, in my opinion. My Yamatos don't pose as well, and frankly have some really scary transformation bits, that just aren't really there on the Bandai, making them my go to toys. I'm supremely happy with the post VF-25 renewal Bandai toys. Does that mean I'd never buy an Arcadia, no, but When Bandai is offering so much more than Arcadia, and at much better prices, I can't see getting any arcadias. To satisfy my VF-1 needs I'll be looking to the Hi-Metal R line, while I'll be looking at the Chogoukin line for My 1/60 scale High quality needs. Arcadia has just priced themselves way out of my range.

I love the hell out of mine, It is my favorite piece by far.

I'd like to bring some attention to the YF-29, and the fact that it is carrying a ton of missiles. How many exactly, and is that to be expected from Current Gen AVFs?

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread
Valkyrie Driver replied to renegadeleader1's topic in Movies and TV Series
I'd like to see that done too, but I'll tell you I'm pretty happy about the advancing storyline too. I just wish we didn't have to wait around for years between productions. They could spit out some OVA's that fill in the gaps in between the series...- 2715 replies

I guess that's fair. I've played pretty rough with mine, and they're holding up, just some floppy joints in places really. I actually really like the level of engineering that has gone into the Bandai toys, it makes the transformation between modes clumsy, but the modes look fantastic. I'd stop, and tell her all the money that your saving spending money on him, is money you can spend on more important things, like her. I get that spending time with her family gets you brownie points, but I'd share less costly things with him If I were you. Besides if you save that money, it's more toys for your collection...

Wow, for one, tell us how you really feel about Bandai (personally I think their recent toys have been great), and second, why waste the money on someone you hate? Screw brownie points, if you hate him he's not worth it.

Ah, ok. Thanks for that.

Anybody have tips and tricks for the Hips of a VF-11C? Mine are super loose, and he can't hold any dynamic poses (folds like a lawn chair when I try anything more than an A-stance).

I have: 4x Y/VF-19's, Hi-Metal VF-19S, Yamato YF-19, Yamato VF-19F, and Bandai VF-19 Advance 4x VF-1's, 2 Toynami 1/100's, 1 v1 Yamato VF-1A CF, and a v2 Yamato VF-1S Roy w/ super/strike parts 2x VF-25F Alto custom, 1 v1 and a Renewal The rest are all one offs, VF-11C, VF-171, VF-0, SV-51a, MBR-04.MkVI Tomahawk. I don't display the toynamis, or the hi-metal. I only display my 1/60 toys, for space reasons.

So Seto, Do you have any information on the XVF-19-1? The Airframe itself looks like a VF-11 with the YF-19's FSW's but what about the engines and other systems? I saw it in my master file book but I can't read it (yet), so I have no idea what it says. And would that be a valid idea to revisit for an AVF upgrade?

I know you meant that as a dig, but since Max and Milia never really followed traditional gender roles in their marriage, I'm not going to dignify that... But technically no, Since I still have the Isamu VF-19Adv... She did ask me to teach her how to transform them though, which is promising...

If we're going to talk toys, I still have the toy of one of my favorite mecha ever, the RX-79[G]Ez8, with almost all of its parts... You know the 5 inch Bandai Gundam figures that were released about 15 years ago... God I feel old...

This one does, but she's an engineering student so... I told her about M&M, with the His and Her valks... She's claimed my VF-19F, because it's blue... and blue is her favorite color...

I liked some of the stuff from the prequels, like Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan, the jedi starfighters, everything related to the clone troopers, Natalie Portman... The visuals were impressive, some of the casting left much to be desired (Hayden frakking Christiansen...) and the character writing was abysmal. Certainly not great even as movies, and I definitely acknowledge what Lucas tried, and failed hard at, to do, and the story that he tried to tell, because it had already been written. He just executed it terribly. Oh and HAN SHOT FIRST!!!!!!!!
