  1. I was so happy that the Kuratas bot just Saitama'd the MkII right off the bat. That was about as much as I could have hoped for. But the Eagle One vs the Kuratas, was so cool. That fight was so much better than I'd hoped.
  2. I'm sorry that you don't like fun. I thought it was fantastic, I mean, Big fighting robots!!! Let's be honest, this was really mismatched, considering the American Bot has a considerable weight class advantage. All in all I'm really happy.
  3. There are only a couple of Transformers toys I would really want... One is the G2 Hooligan figure, i had one as a kid and I adored it. Shame I ended up losing it. The other is a Masterpiece Starscream, the one that Shoji Kawamori designed, the one that turns into an F-15E, MP-03 I think it is. Congrats everyone on the arrival of your purchases!
  4. Aside from my YF-29 Percival, I have super parts for every other Bandai Valk I own. I also have super parts for some of my yamatos (VF-1S, VF-11C, Sv-51). I need them...
  5. With so much pessimism, what hope is there for the movie, and the new series...
  6. I kinda thought the same thing when I saw the south Korean Bot. At the same time I'm so Happy! Who else is excited, broadcast on twitch tonight at 10?
  7. My VF-31C finally cleared customs and is on the way! My anticipation has been palpable...
  8. I've got my Draken III, and it's beautiful. I do have to say though, I'm not having a ton of fun with transformation, not because the thing is a rubix cube, but because of how stiff some of the joints are, and how close some of the paint apps get during transformation. It's harrowing...
  9. Thanks guys
  10. Does the VF-19EF exceed the performance of the VF-171, or are they on par? How do we distinguish between monkey models and not? Were there Monkey Models of the first production type VF-19's or were those produced before the decision was made to restrict exports? Also since the historical reference for Monkey Models is from the Soviet Union, would it be accurate to say that the Monkey Models were simpler to produce and operate than the fully capable standard models. Would it also be fair to say that Monkey Models might also be used by federal forces under severe wartime conditions? The only reason the Soviets chose to export their monkey model production was to keep the line running and recoup the costs of production. Fair to say the NUNS does it the same way?
  11. I didn't know where else to ask this, but where can you find things like current market value of Valks. I'm curious, since I looked on ebay and found that thee top listing for a Yamato VF-11C was $900 USD. Is that right, could I get that price? I'm just curious because I might want to actually do a value statement on my collection... you know, for renters insurance and asset statements and such...
  12. I guess they didn't do it for delta. Because the dogfights were boring...
  13. China has built one too, the Monkey King. And looks like South Korea is in on it too...
  14. I'm a bit Jealous, I want a couple of these too, wingmen for my VF-1S...
  15. Since I'm never going to use the non hardpoint wings ever again... I was thinking of carefully drilling out the post and putting a cutoff nail in the hole.
  16. I want a DX Chogokin, perfect transformation.
  17. You know, Delta really needed a few over the shoulder camera angles, both looking fore and aft, with the background moving rather than the plane. This couple with some variety in maneuvering would have been nice. Give me a transformation to gerwalk and back with a nice lag displacement. Just once, I'd like to see a macross production animation director go to the JASDF and ask for a technical consultant.
  18. When I ordered my Sv-262 from Mandarake, I had it shipped EMS, it took only 2-3 days to arrive. I ordered my VF-31C from AmiAmi. I mean, I have the Sv-262 to tie me over, but I want my VF-31C. Then all I'll waiting on is my Banpresto SQ Mirage to show up, so I can has Mirage Display.
  19. It sucks that I need to wait until next month before I can get my yetistand stuff... I really want to get my valks up and displayed. I'm going to need to double up on my planned order. Um, I'd be interested in a piece that allows me to display my LillDraken along side my Sv-262Hs... I hope that counts...
  20. Mine is coming in International Registered Mail. I just got off the phone with USPS customer service, who informed me that my package has been handed over to customs. The tracking status doesn't reflect that, which is irritating. Good news is that the rep told me that stuff is averaging 7-10 days in customs, so it'll only be there for a few more days at the most.
  21. That's true, but it's floppy and irritating...
  22. So, I have a few questions about this. I had a minor issue, one of the small pins on the wing has sheared off. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find replacements? Additionally, I have the super parts set, and the arm gun seems to be a right pain. I attached it the way it showed in the instructions, but it just doesn't want to stay on the mounting plate. Was there a screw or something that was supposed to hold the arm onto the mounting plate? Sorry for the thread necro, but I didn't know where else to ask this question...
  23. Those are some beautiful displays. Also some precariously perched Lego sets. How exactly are those mounted?
  24. Good God man... It's just that my Sv-262 got here within days. And I ordered it after my VF-31C... Like a 3 or 4 days after. It took no more than a couple days for it to arrive. If it had been transferred to customs, it would tell me, since customs is separate from the ISC. I'm beginning to fear that it's just sitting in a pile, at the bottom and they haven't sent it out because it's at the bottom of the pile and more stuff keeps arriving. I don't know, this is really bugging me, since I've never had to wait this long.
  25. I really want to know how the Sv series (Sv-51, Sv-154, and Sv-262) are specifically designed to kill variable fighters. Are regular VF's not designed to counter other VF's?
