Are these Bootleg SDF-1s any good? I have been seeing more and more of them lately. Are they new? Rob

Vol 7 of the Eva Manga came out in 2 versions one with Asuka and one with Rei dressed in Xmas clothing, and are about the same size as the rei perfect figure. The picture that Wolfx posted are the winter wear figures made by sega and they are slightly smaller then the china dress figures also made by Sega. I can post pics if people want to see em. Rob

wolfx, good price on the figures I got them when they first came out and paid a little higher. Next you need the Rei and Asuka China dress figures, then the Plug suit versions, and all the different variations Sega is putting out lol. Rob

I also would have to go with the Nadesico ND-001 and the Nadesico with the Y-unit attatched. Also have to give a nod to some of the variations of the Nadesico that appear in the Manga. Besides that I liked the Nirvana from Vandread, and the UGAS Heavy Battlecruiser on the boxart from a really really old PC/AT game called starfleet by Interstel. Rob

Hmm I seem to be in the minority again I didn't think AC3 was bad at all. Kinda gave the series abit of a spin by changing the story line. Otherwise it would have been another upgraded version of Air Combat like AC2 was. Now even I admit AC2 was cool but I won't agree with someone saying AC2 blew AC3 away because frankly it didnt. But AC4... yea that pretty much blew everything away and hopefully AC5 continues. Rob

Gobots...now that was back in the day The only Gobot I still have that I can find is a fairly large 80's Red T/A that had an AM/FM radio buit into it. I remember getting this as a birthday present when I was a wee lad. I should check to see if the radio still works lol. Rob

Sorry Virgil I disagree, this guy pretty much took the money and ran, and then used a lame excuse to hide behind. But thats "OK" because recasting is stealing......um I feel a little bit of my Klepto side coming out . In all seriousness though morally you are correct, what it all boils down to is do you care if your doing it or not? Personally I could give two ***** who owns what rights or whether BW, HG, or my mom has the license for it. What matters to me is where can I get it, and whats it gonna cost me. I can understand why myersjessee wants to stay legit, but if it does eventually happen that people recast Tanmen's models I won't shead one tear for someone stealing from him. Rob

yea this is a tough one, I would get both but then that means I have an empty Macross DVD case lying around, and I have enough anime stuff just lying around as it is. Ahh the hell with it I can't choose so I ordered both. Rob

I am going through all my stuff and I have come across a Bandai Joke Machine VF-1S. Boxed with everything as close to mint as possible except its missing the little minmay figure that I guess it was supposed to come with. I havent seen a JM on ebay lately...but then again its not like I look real hard . Whats the going price on these currently? Rob

Yep I'm dragging up an old topic...oh well Anyway I just got to see pictures of what Toynami is planning on releasing and calling Voltron. I like it, it has a new style to it that is different from my Bandai/Matchbox and even Trendmasters releases. I think its cool that they decided to redesign it, and if they keep the price acceptable I probably will pick one up. Voltron has the same back in the day old Skool goodness to me as my 1/55s. To see someone redo it and not just reissue like Trendmasters did peaks my interest, and its worth checking out. Rob

This series is an excellent "dark" anime. Shouldn't dissapoint you. Rob

Attack aircraft: SU-25 Stormovik/Frogfoot

Just recently downloaded Macross zero vol 3 and when I goto play it, I get an audio codec error. Video is fine and it plays I just don't get any sound. I personally have never run into this problem before and I have yet to really hunt for a solution. I probably will once I get out of work. Anyone else run into something similar at one point? And on a related note any good 3rd party Media players similar to Windows Media Player that are pretty decent? Sorry if wrong forum just curious. Rob

Allright new to Five Star Stories and I really like it so far. I do have one question In the english version Book 6 where Lachesis is talking to Doctor Morard there are a couple of pages where she speaks in French. Anyone translate it? Sorry I can't speak french so I figured I would ask. Rob

hmm I am curious... the only Gundam series I have seen are the Original, Gundam Wing, and G-Gundam. I'm not personally really into gundam and never visited the site. But out of the 3 I have seen I liked Wing, Gundam was OK, and G-Gundam.... not gonna go there. Besides the fact that apparently Wing sounded like it had a fad going is there a reason why everytime it gets mentioned other gundam fans bash it to death? Rob

hehe umm where to begin Alright I picked this title up because it was recommended by a friend of mine. This title is Hentai period... The story is actually not too bad but its also pretty graphic. If I would have known what I was getting into when I bought it I would have put it back on the shelf, regardless that ecchi bastard friend of mine was quite amused Point is its your call if your into Hentai go for it, if your not leave it alone. SDF Macross is already in Manga form. I have the first 3 volumes although its all in japanese. Its all in color and in the back it has advertisements for several Macross Artbooks. I have never seen it sold anywhere and I don't even know how many volumes it is.
