    I gave it a go when it first came out, I got upto and watched the Mugen Train(?) arc and the dropped it. It was entertaining, but the shonen jump formula doesn't work on me anymore.

    Neither have I, I paid for the express shipping and nada. No more $$ from me until they release what they already took. I am happy it made it, but I smell Ponzi scheme..

    So comparing the JP remaster limited edition box to this.. Is the US version the upscale release? and the US version appears to have a bigger art book a few more art cards and a poster? Am I missing anything else? Upon looking at the JP release and the pictures on Crunchy roll, the US release only is 1 Disc, the JP release is 2. Probably not the up scaled version. Also the JP release has an artbook, that is only 40 pages long, the box has the same outer slipbox, minus some text at a few places. JP release has 5 art/post cards. US release has 8. Both releases share 4 cards as per CRs website with the US release getting 4 that are not in the JP release. The JP has 1 card that is not in the US release. And the JP version does not have the poster. I am just curious if its worth picking this up if I already have the JP remaster box.

    I haven't looked ahead to next season, if nothing pops up I might take a step away for a season.

    Dandadan - is probably the only title this season that has me looking forward to the weekly releases. Even more so now with ReZero on hiatus. The rest of this season is largely a snooze fest. Arifureta and Danmachi both have turned me off, I am behind on both but catching up is going to be a slog. Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru 2nd Season - boring, there is no saving grace for this.. its a slog and I gave up. Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai - Another boring one, but not an isekai. The whole gimmick about the MC stretches belief beyond any reason. I am at least still watching this one, but this is just weak. Kimi wa Meido-sama - Not that bad overall, worth a watch as it has its moments. A rare beacon of hope this season. Sayonara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei - is your vanilla Isekai nothing worth of note here.. outside of a Monster Girl waifu.

    So ReZero S3 is 8 episodes? wait wut? The 2nd half airs in Feb 2025? ... guess I can start watching, as I said previously I already know what is coming assuming it stays faithful to the LNs.

    So remember folks Kickstarter rewards are not Guaranteed. Are Kickstarter rewards guaranteed? It's important to keep in mind that backing is not buying, and rewards are not guaranteed. The first thing to note here is that the estimated delivery date is just that, an estimate. This date is determined by project creators as their best guess for when backers will receive their rewards. I do wish KC all the best, but as others have mentioned I have several PreOrders that are unfulfilled from KC, and no word on release and no response to my emails.

    you know.. this reeks of desperation. I'm gonna pass on all of it. Some good stuff here, but they still haven't produced what they already took money for... Caveat Emptor..

    Without going into spoilers, the whole Syr/Freya thing is just largely coming across as irrelevant. Especially coming off the events of S4 where IMO the series saved itself from a very terrible story arc (S3). Its still too early to tell, and unlike some others like ReZero I don't already know what is coming. I still personally don't think this series was ever able surpass S1, and has been going downhill since. S4 came the closest to the level of S1 IMO and now as of S5 Ep 5 we are sliding back down into S3 levels.. or so it seems. Again just my .02

    I've pumped the brakes on this season, I intentionally have delayed watching ReZero S3, I am going to let it get ahead abit before I move onto Ep 2. As for others this season, just not feeling anything currently. Danmachi is just ...... at this point, and Arifureta S3 (sp?) is just more of the edge lord stuff and was stale in S2. Dandadan is entertaining, probably keep up with that for that time being. I even gave Uzumaki a go, and that was just.. bad.

    So wrapped Oshi no Ko S2.. I'll take back some of what I said, but double down on other parts. S2 was not as strong as S1, they spent waaaaaaaay too much time on the so called "theatre arc". All the while every characters moves and motive being narrated to you the whole time... it really does treat the viewers like they are dumb. The twist during the final few episodes and the "passing" of the proverbial driving factor passing from Aqua to Ruby just doesn't click. Neither does the whole motivation that Aqua has just turning off like a light switch. TBH its hard to review this without spoilers. I assume there will be a S3 considering the ending credits, but TBH I don't think I much care at this point.

    Nice comparison to the Hi Metal R regults. I need to dig mine out and compare. I am enjoying the KC version, might be one of their best releases outside of the SD stuff.. obviously..

    Just finished Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant. All episodes were only 12 min give or take. Not bad, pretty saccharin you'll need an insulin shot.. I think the only thing worth of note that I found weird was the age gap between the 2. In some scenes they really go out of their way to highlight the difference.

    So I'm pretty far in on Oshi no Ko S2, ep 21 at this point. And in the course of 2 episodes they may have just killed the entire series for me. S1 was far superior to whatever this is, S2 is falling into the character over exposition trope that is treating the viewer as if they are idiots. There are still a few episodes to go, and they spent waaaaay too long on this play. However that is the least of its issues currently, when you remove the driving factor from an MC it makes them dull. Congrats.

    I am glad to hear they are announcing a 2nd season, hopefully more of the LN gets animated. And with that.. Summer Anime 2024 is quickly giving way to fall. Overall Summer season was pretty blah, a few worth watching but many just blase. 【OSHI NO KO】2nd Season - only about 4 episodes into S2, it has not grabbed me like S1.. not bad but not sure what I am watching at this point. Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san - Best of the Season, hands down. S2 coming.. huzzah Failure Frame - Aka edge lord, and an elf with booba. still going but meh. Gimai Seikatsu - aka tell me you wanna bang your step sibling, without telling me you wanna bang your step sibling. It escalated quickly and then turned boring pretty fast, it wasn't bad, but not really good either. Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta - another very bland series for this season. I get the feeling that the Cheese CGI really hurt this series, and the fact that it was apparent very early that it wasn't gonna go anywhere at the end. Again not bad, mostly average and what Summer 2024 was all about apparently. Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru. This series had some good potential early on, and the whole 1 cour pacing really stung on this one. Not great by any means but one of the few I took an interest in and read further then where the Anime ended. If the anime interested in you at all, check out the manga it sets a better pace. Spicey Wolf.. *sigh* OK yeah I enjoyed it. Really though only the last 4 episodes really made my day. Everything else was already done, and in someways better already. Giji Harem - I liked it. It was pretty straight forward, it had some silliness and the Mrs liked it as well. Not gonna bring home any awards but it was entertaining. Megami no Cafe Terrace 2nd Season - I enjoyed the 1st season, 2nd season was much of the same...... EXCEPT.. they totally botched the end of S2. Where and how they ended it was probably the worst I have seen since Promised Neverland S2.. ok maybe not THAT bad.

    Nope. I took it back out again just to verify, no mention of a pilot or pictures in the instructions either. All the diecast is in the legs, and do articulate.. more then I expected. Inside is very well detailed, I don't see it being big enough for a figure.. ***UPDATE*** so looking at my orders on KC website, this order is listed as partially shipped. as the order does include a figure.

    Just got mine. Slipcover has art, interior box is just the basic black KC box found on other releases. Fairly large in size.. note the bottle for size comparison..

    Caught the 30th Anniversary Screening for Ninja Scroll last night. AX Cinema nights keeps bringing me back to theatres. Good stuff.
