    Honestly though.. I don't have much love for BW either. When I was younger and first on MW, I had nothing but vitrol for HG.. but having been through this for 25+ years its shown me 2 companies that are extremely petulant and inflexible with the fans the only ones suffering.. Willing to bet that 95% of the Macross fans outside of Japan were introduced to it by Robotech at one point or another. I know the number might be even higher for NA and SA fans. Also lets not forget that the Robotech Box set that was released has the best looking remaster or upscaling of SDF Macross currently outside of Japan.. BTW.. I still have lots of vitrol for HG for those that are wondering.. just not worth the effort.

    I can't comment on how they compare, because Campfire Cooking never popped up on my Radar when it aired. Looking at the wiki its very similar, both have the ability to access some Online Marketplace and summon items. The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World, primary focus is the "Slow Life" whatever that means is your best guess.. He is able to summon anything in the market place outside of say Illegal items. They both sound very very similar.. but lets be honest so do ALL isekai series.

    So apparently Danmachi S5 just wrapped, it was on hiatus and the last episode dropped yesterday. I did a binge of the last 3 episodes and I'm not impressed. I don't think S5 came anywhere close S4, it was all the same things we have seen in previous seasons. God/Goddess wants Bell, all sorts of unreasonable things happen cause the guild or other stupid rules. Then a Wargame.. This is a rinse and repeat of the Apollo(?) arc. The only real positive for this season was Ryu, who also carried much of S4 but was sidelined much of this season due to the same stupid guild rules or other plot elements that only seem to apply to the MC. I am not familiar with the novels, so maybe this is setting up for something else, but TBH I think the Danmachi probably needs to quit while its ahead.

    So keeping the ball rolling. I caught up on NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita. This one consists of shorts, 2 eps for each full episode. The whole world premise is abit silly, basically an excuse for fanservice. Even as shorts it stretches at points with not enough content to fill even half episodes. It does fit the category for just something to watch without having to be deep. I'd give it a solid 5/10 at this point.. much worse out there this season. Also spent some time catching up on Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta. speaking of worse out there this season... I've mentioned this before but the primary love interest comes off as shallow and abit of a b*tch. She does warm upto the MC as the series progresses, but personally I still don't see any reason they ship together. But such is the way of JP romcoms.. Her friend is the better choice, and its telling from a characters integrity standpoint how she treats her friend. These last few episodes introduced Akane's little sister and that got creepy really fast. As of episode 9 I'd rate this 3/10. Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu.. aka Giramasu moving upwards this season.. this one is not bad, still nothing I would write home about but its better then the 2 I have listed above. Another one of those that don't require any real thought so light viewing. As the Mrs. says the cute Guild girls sell this one, it tries to take itself seriously with the OP, but then the ending hits and that is all out the window. 7/10 as of ep 9. Arafo Otoko No Isekai Tsuhan Seikatsu - been able to stay relatively current with this one. Much of what the MC does really does not make any sense but its entertaining. The whole Amazon/Temu premise in another world is interesting but pretty cheat. It has its funny, but also its annoyances as the whole harem trope is overplayed. I'm curious where they end this one though.. and this is one of those that gets a 2nd season.. bet on it.

    Yes, they released it in 2 cours. Frieren was pretty good, not sure if they are going to do anymore but there is enough material to do at least another season. Agreed. She carries this show, not the greatest but its entertaining.

    I caught up on Arifureta.. ugh I didn't even realize the 3rd season ended as it has no climax or resolution. Absolutely trash the entire 3rd season was a dumpster fire and killed the entire franchise IMO.

    Well it arrived today, box was pretty big, had some heft to it as well. Better turn around on shipping then I expected.. ordered 12/29. Shipping box had no padding, but they put the corner protectors on it.. Arrived relatively unscathed... nice design.. Flip Side.. Now need to set aside a space to start the building process..

    I think I have this on pre-order.. I don't remember. Gonna buck the trend here again, not hung up on this one so I am gonna hold my opinion until I see it myself.

    So unless I am missing something, this is the same as the original release.. except the Stand and different boxart correct? Now I just need to determine if I want to double dip..

    If this is the same series I am thinking of, the anime was left wanting. Wasn't terrible, but the manga was leaps and bounds better.

    Adding 2 more to my Winter 2025 watch list. Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta - Meh, slim pickings this season so this may stick around abit. The whole initial premise is pretty off putting, but some people have kinks I guess. Mrs. already does not approve she does not like the wife character Akane.. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 2nd Season - I initially passed on S1 of this because nothing caught my interest. Again due to slim pickins from this season I figured I would go give it a shot.. I am working on S1 currently and have awhile to go before I get to S2.

    I have 3 currently from this season. SAKAMOTO DAYS - 2 episodes in, not bad seems to be interesting at this point. Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi - another 2 episodes in, seems kinda silly at this point but with slim pickings this season I'll stick around. Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san - The best of the 3 I am watching currently this season. The Mrs. likes it as well, so bonus.

    Opened up my "Artillery Pods" version, the missle packs themselves are extremely light. I'll post some pictures up later when I get a chance. I am still waiting on the other version which is on its way. I'd be tempted to say that the Regults KC put out are the best product to date.. however I am still partial to the SD stuff.

    Yea the 2nd play through is no joke. Nice thing about this version is you can go into settings and have it start on 2nd time off the bat.

    I cannot get through the first episode, Neither the MC nor Mona are likeable in any way. I got to the part where she comments about him liking cat pictures on his phone and Nope'd right on out of there.

    Its been awhile since I have any updates for this. I located an individual who can get me the art I want for this machine. After a few more electrical gremlin issues, I just replaced all the wiring harnesses, and in so doing found my power supply was getting pretty jank on the +5V leads. This might have been causing some of my isssues, I have replaced that as well. Now I am changing direction abit, while it will be an SDF Macross cab, I am going to add 2 additional shmup jamma games.. AeroFighters and Twin Cobra. With Twin Cobra needing some work as its got some issues. I saw this concept at Galloping Ghost and I liked it..

    well with 2024 coming to a close in short order, I played some catch up with Arifureta, and Danmachi. Ep 12 of both are delayed.. Arifureta is 1/20/25, not sure if Danmachi actually announced a date for Ep 12.. so indefinately? Nothing on the radar for Winter 2025 season at this point.

    This looks really neat, I will admit I am on the fence with 2 fairly large issues about it. 1. Just simply not having the patience or time to sit down and finish this. 2. People in my house who are unable to keep their hands to themselves (adults) either when I have it built, or while I have parts sorted while I am building it. .... yes this is an issue.

    Series are starting to wrap, nothing has really changed for me. I will add.. Maou-sama, Retry! R - Very blah overall.. another edgelord anime. However... towards the end of 1of the episodes there is a battle between the Maou and some child looking demon, that is absolutely hilarious. Skip the rest, just watch abit previous for context. I went back a few seasons to give Utawarerumono a rewatch since I was so critical about it. I'm gonna back pedal a little bit considering what it had to cover with not much time to do so. However.. My original gripe of cutting too much out leaves some major gaps and questions unanswered to the astute viewers. There are some scenes in the end that are easy to miss, but relevant to those who played the games. My original advice still stands.. play the games.
