Ok...here me out... Over on the ToyboxDX Facebook page (register your favorite robot as a Valkyrie of course) Matt Alt posted a picture he took of the 1/3000 Takatoku Prototype SDF-1 which is owned by a former Takatoku exec (for full pic go to ToyboxDX facebook) This prototype was used on the Takatoku box (courtesy of @xstoys) ok, so this is where it gets weird. Look closely at those Shoulder Cannons. They are on a swing hinge. Now in your mind...place the Toy in Cruiser mode and hold it in flight mode (horizontal) And now imagine a loose fitting floppy prototype shoulder cannon hinge... and lastly mix in this little thing called GRAVITY... and then we have (ladies and gentlemen) I've ALWAYS wondered why Takani drew it like this with the guns pointing down. My guess is that someone at Nue had the prototype lying around for whatever design approval or something, picked it up, took a picture of it in flight mode, and sent it to Takani. who did his incredible picture based on the floppy gun prototype. (disclaimer this is my crazy personal theory and not actually validated by any means whatsoever)

I will ask this once and only once. Please be respectful to each other in this thread or I'll just turn this place into a Robotech forum, I'm sure I can get a license from HG. Seriously knock it off, please. The PO/PRODUCT separate threads is currently the WAY we are going to do things for the current GBP nd near-term releases. No further discussions. All Purchase talk goes into THIS thread. All Product talk goes into the OTHER thread. The benefit of this process is all the chatter on orders, which have an extremely short lived lifespan stay encapsulated in one area. The product thread remains clean, without reading countless 'go here ...sold' threads, which once read are literally throw away comments. The downside is that you potentially have to look in 2 places now for product and purchase information. If you simply cannot adjust to this separate thread concept, I urge you to try some features of the board which allow you to see everything in one view Simply click on the Unread at top, which will open a super cool filter option that shows everything...choose Toys/Unread and whammo-you now see the Purchase and Product talk in once screen again. This is more akin to a continuous 'information feed' which might mirror other social network platforms which you are probably used to. I definitely hope Cannon Fodder VF-1A is next, that would be a perfect option after the D and GBP. Then they can switch back to movie editions and do the VT-1 and VE-1 and then I'll be completely broke!
