@Swann you sure are finding the rare Macross items! Not Skylark as @jvmacross confirmed, so moved into this seperate DYRL thread. What is the story on how you got it? I am curious. 1500 yen is a steal for that! I think last time it was something like 30000 yen.

Yep! Mine would not close, so it is slightly ajar, did not want to force it. Looks like there are some minor fit issues with some of these.

The crotch front/back connector felt dangerously fragile when mounting it for me, thought it was just me. Also my arm outer armor REALLY took some pressure to mount on my orig release vf-1j..like REALLY hard to make it fit.

These are an awesome addition to Macross collection. Having a complete set is quite a feat-you are very close! Piecing them together one by one is a true test of patience. As far as I know, you are only missing two sets, #1 and #6 I've never seen a #18 or above (if anyone has I'd love to know what it is) Sorry-I had to arrange your paints in order, was driving me crazy LOL

That is just a natural response for expecting new tooling to use the last known level of features as the jumping off point. I love/hate the Yamato 1/48 set...it has a million pieces, and if you look at it wrong, they tend to fall off or dislodge. But fewer pieces/options can lead ot better handability-which from the videos I've seen, this thing has in spades. There is going to be grumbling here and there, until its deployed on a shelf and you appreciate the sculpt and then the complaints disappear. (my opinion)

Scares me a bit until I actually get one. And at about 8:45 when the chest doors open, I almost think I see possible interence scraping on the tampo printing area. But I'm sure Bandai did their homework. Can't wait for my set!

As we were aware, all international EMS type shipping was not just delayed but actually stopped for over a year. can we just take a moment and THANK the technology gods who invented closed captioning AND auto-translation on the videos what a crazy awesome helpful tool. I can 'gist' things much better now.

And for the Trivia nerds-that Takani GBP art piece that went up for sale 10 years ago-that is owned by Tenjin now. He has mentioned before it is the spark that made him what he is today. I'm calling this the Takani edition for those large hands LOL
