That is just a natural response for expecting new tooling to use the last known level of features as the jumping off point. I love/hate the Yamato 1/48 set...it has a million pieces, and if you look at it wrong, they tend to fall off or dislodge. But fewer pieces/options can lead ot better handability-which from the videos I've seen, this thing has in spades. There is going to be grumbling here and there, until its deployed on a shelf and you appreciate the sculpt and then the complaints disappear. (my opinion)

On wotafa's link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbSzRqqXXCI At 6:40ish when attaching the shoulder base, i don't like that clamp on the thinnest area of the outside shoulder area. Scares me a bit until I actually get one. And at about 8:45 when the chest doors open, I almost think I see possible interence scraping on the tampo printing area. But I'm sure Bandai did their homework. Can't wait for my set!

As we were aware, all international EMS type shipping was not just delayed but actually stopped for over a year. A product not being shipped is outside of any vendor's control, and Luna Park is no exception. @68whiskey can you please reply to Luna Park's private message and verify the preorder was refunded at some point? Frustrations are running high here, and before we allow any actions, we'd like the two parties to discuss privately the transaction, then we can clear this up. Thank you! Shawn (the management)

can we just take a moment and THANK the technology gods who invented closed captioning AND auto-translation on the videos what a crazy awesome helpful tool. I can 'gist' things much better now.

And Tenjin is doing the upcoming Hasegawa GBP release box art-can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
-
And for the Trivia nerds-that Takani GBP art piece that went up for sale 10 years ago-that is owned by Tenjin now. He has mentioned before it is the spark that made him what he is today. I'm calling this the Takani edition for those large hands LOL

Ok, do I get my Macross card revoked asking this question? I always figured those slats under the chest and on the arms were just design features...to fill in the empty space. Are these actually exhaust vents for the missiles when they launch out? Basically pressure release? Cause I never see anything coming out of them if they were. I guess the are..doh!

They say "Rules are written in blood"...what happened here that then needed this warning to be added 😛 Some poor Valkyrie Engineer....

Sure its been discussed before, but I just re-discovered it and laughed. In the footer of one of the pages in the Artmic Design book, mechanical co-designer Hideki Kakinuma explains the origin of HBT Just take the word GAS and offset +1 letter in the alphabet LOL poor google translate results Therefore, I taught that HBT is the next spelling of GAS in the sense that it is next to GAS (gasoline), that is, it is a really ridiculous thing made by doing G → H, A → B, S → T. By the way, the other party is crazy! There was an episode saying ... It ’s Kessaku! (Kakinuma)

Agreed I suspect the brown box is the armor-solo...at least the box width dimensions match up My armor parts says they will ship to me on the 17th(reseller), so I could believe they are being sent out now. I hope @jenius didn't do Sea-Mail this time...want to see the review soon 😛

I love how you can just remove it from the box and slap on the armor-pre-transformed in battroid mode! You can then say 'never transformed' 5 years from now when the 1/32 version comes out and you sell it!

Are there any other posts about it or external links? (the sdf build above) I missed them! -
Ran across this Arii 1/100 Prototype release pic in one of the old magazines(appears to be the same battroid as shown on the playing card above). This time they got the VF-1D name correct, but that head is the VF-1C They were still tweaking on the nose in fighter/gerwalk, but wow-those are the biggest hands I've ever seen!
