The transition of the planning and design styles is explored with comparisons and interviews about products from Arii, Imai, Nichimo and LS, all of which were manufacturing plastic models from these series starting in 1980. Comparisons between the anime and how each company's model kits interpreted the animation image will also be discussed.

On a side note...seeing the Hasegawa Zentradi alphabet posted above again I remembered seeing it on the himetal regult box recently...and yup...says Regult 😛

Had a 1/48 Sonic Birds in the HLJ private warehouse, and just got notificaiton about the regult finally being in stock (only had a week left in storage on the VF-1A, so every day was saying 'release the regult...release the regult already') Lowest non-sea shipping option was 5160 yen to socal, which is just a few dollars higher than my last purchase from December (similar box sizes) Just posting this additional shipping comparison info if it helps anyone.

I've seen a few sellers with more than one, so perhaps Bandai did no strictly enforce the 'one only' rule 😛 maybe it was one 'transaction' in the lottery

When they were selling for 19000 yen 1 weeks ago it made sense, now not so much at 12000-13000 since the market got resaturated. Maybe you could put in a unique CC# for each 'entry' or something to get around the limitation, but yeah..with just one now are getting a couple decent lunches out of it when everything is done.

On yahoo shopping, a few days ago I kept seeing strike parts listed for about 13000 yen with 'feb delivery' which made no sense..so Ii bought one as a test and ithe transaction completed to my surprise. There is nothing posted on Tamashi....but yeah, I think bandai either found a pallet in their warehouse, or they did a quiet re-release, as they are now flooding YJ at 13000-14000 yen. SUPER DIBS if it ever comes up I need that poster, the pop-up, and the bags...so basically the rest of the collection whic is next to impossible to get, At least until Gex-Xers start fading out and the kids start going into their parents attics and selling 'weird colored lunch bags' when clearing out the house for goodwill donations...but by that time I won't be around to bid on them, so not going to do me much good. OR!!! Maybe I put some money in a trust fund for my kids when I'm gone that is only released when they find the Skylark lunch bags...but just either color variant, I'm not crazy you know. That way they too are then eternally Cursed to hunt Yahoo Japan looking for Macross scraps...
