    1/55's revisited

Going into the MW Wayback machine...had a request to see if I had the old wall of takatoku/bandai pic from 20+ years ago I think this was it...who's collection was this? I can't remember.
  3. Good to hear we are all in the same boat...misery in numbers is much easier to accept! If any of us do get our kit in let the others know!
  4. I ordered mine from HLJ back in October, but only have the decals in the private warehouse. Anyone else order through HLJ and not have theirs yet? I can wait, just seeing if anyone else was in the same boat before I bothered their support team
  5. I thought I had blue and green, but apparently I only see green
  6. Woah...these are actually Nichimo kits! Gotta find some of those.

Since we are in bootleg mode for a moment-here is a cool video of the Space Gandam V 1/55-turn on Closed Captioning and Auto-Translation Also another discovery-the Valkyrie 3-type...wow that box! Its the single fast pack booster squadron!
  8. Thanks for the all the stories and info! I was dumb enough to not make the connection between 'Robot Tek'and 'Robotech'...of course! I found another pic of the 1/100 Takatoku model kit. I think this was the one your friend was describing, maybe just a mis-remembering of the gunpod firing since it was so long ago and there were probably other 1/55s they had http://wooroemae.com/zeroboard/zboard.php?id=menu_03_bbs&page=50&sn1=&divpage=1&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=vote&desc=asc&no=818&PHPSESSID=84be942dd9704564a65e6e184ab143e6
  9. I've never seen them actually attached to anything-great find! All the sets I ever see are always loose (but still together with the stickers)
  10. SDF-1, Nice box art
  11. Wow-nice collection! Multiple scales too

You were not joking...well at least I had fun poking around the old way...brute force
  13. I would say that the Super McRoid and the Super Spartan are direct copies or import of the original Japanese kits-so it might have similar to the Revell Robotech situation...interesting!
  14. The Revell kits were official in the fact that the were from Imai or Arii, but these are all new molds and interpretations. They are pretty wild!
  15. While searching for a knockoff toy, I ran across some interesting model kits, thought I'd share the finds here! Feel free to add more! That Sally Tek above...is literally a Takatoku 1/100 toy?! I have to find this! See the comparison against the Takatoku Max VF-1J below. This one comes with a Gunpod...so it is better than the Takatoku ever could be (ha) https://bbs.ruliweb.com/family/232/board/300080/read/30125679
