I’m looking to preorder the Legioss from Anime export. Only problem is that their yen price is 22,500. When I put that in the conversion calculator, it comes out to about $205 US dollars. On their site, it lists it at about $215 US dollars. I contacted them about it but haven’t heard back. I’m wondering why the $10 difference. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the compliment Frogze. Unfortunately, I don't have progress pics for either of them. I was so caught up in working on them that I didn't think of taking pics of my progress. Though I am able to answer any questions I can. -

Thanks man. Like I said, the head sculpt isn't the best, but it does the job. I don't remember exactly how long, but I would say approximately 4-6 months. There was some modifications like cutting pieces from the Cykill kit and fusing it onto the figure in order to make things fit right. I did that for the sabers, the motorcycle seat and chassis, and the nose of the bike. There was alot of trial and error with fitting issues for perfect transformation as well. The Bartley was even harder to do since I had to size things down and also add things cuz it's a girl. I even made the cannon for her which took longer than expected. I should be done by the beginning of the year or so. -

Yeah, the cloth bugs me too. But without it, to me, it doesn't look complete. I wish that the paint could stick to it better. Even the factory color came off it you handled it too much. Beagle could have used something else that was more durable. Good luck on your customization EXO. I wish I did have those things that you mentioned, but I just used what I had on hand and hoped for the best. What you're describing sounds real scientific like the show the Big Bang Theory. I will keep that in mind for future reference if I can figure out where to get those things. -

Actually it did get to the plastic which looked like it distorted it a little. That's why I used very little like a drop or two and worked fast at prying it apart, because the color of the visor had come off onto the helmet. I didn't care because I would wrepaint it anyway. But I'm sure there are better solutions out there. And the helmet comes off in three pieces. I would suggest taking off the middle panel first, then the sides. -

Yeah, I painted the cloth with some model master acrylic paint. The visor was a bit tricky. First you have to figure out how to take the helmet apart which was glued together and secured with a screw. I used a FEW drops of acetone to loosen the glue and pried off the pieces. Then I used more acetone to take off the color on the helmet. Surprisingly it came off pretty easy. It became clear, but began to get a little cloudy, but don't worry. Once you paint it, it looks fine. I used a model master transparent green for that. I wasn't entirely happy with the sides of the helmet because I used the pieces from the Cykill model kit and they were a bit small, but it didn't bother me too much. Overall, I thought it worked. -

I changed the color of the suit by simply painting it. If it gets handled too much, it does seem to come off a little. As you can see by the picture of the figure's lower back which shows some flaking. I try not to handle it too much, but overall, everything else is quite durable. That would be awesome EXO!!! Thanks. Yeah, it's gonna take you a while. This thing took me months to do. -

No, I couldn't incorporate the missiles. This was about my 4th custom so I didn't have too much experience. Plus, I had used the parts from a Cykill model kit to make it all work and the chest area just doesn't open up so I left it alone. Thanks for the compliment Yeah. I'm not entirely happy with the head myself. I don't do too much sculpting, but tried my best. I actually used mighty putty. LOL. I think that you guys will like the head on the Bartley better. It's more accurate than this one. -

Thanks EXO! I didn't know I was the first one to do this with all the talent we have on MW. Maybe I was the first one willing to customize a beagle since they aren't that cheap. Sorry about the thread. As you can see by my rank, I don't post very much. -

Hey all. I want to start a little customizing project with the Imai 1/15 VR-038-L Bartley/Houquet kit. I've been searching endlessly around the net for pictures of the darn kit put together but couldn't find any. My question is if anyone here on the boards have attempted or have one put together so that I can see what it looks like and possibly get some measurements. I would be so very greatful, and think that if I have the right dimensions, I might be able to start my custom project. I am very confident in starting this project since I just finished a Blow Superior/Yellow conversion using the 1/10 Beagle Ley as a base. Any help or info would much be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey all. So I purchased all three of the CM's expensive ass legioss and treads a while back ago from a fellow macrossworld member. I was decently happy with the purchase but was still bothered by a few cosmetic issues, the chest intakes being one of them. Well, searching around on ebay today, I came across a seller selling one with upgraded parts. When I saw the image I was like, WTF? There are new better molded intakes, hands, and linkage bar as well as a huge gun and other items. I was pissed. If I knew about these parts, I might have waited. So I did a search on google, and came across scorched earth toys review on anymoon and the upgrade looks great! The link is below in case anyone is interested. My question is, does anybody on here know if I can get a few upgraded sets by themselves, or if they even come by themselves? I mean, I feel I've been slapped in the face for buying their older crap when they put these out to try and sell the rest of them off! I just wish that there was a way to get just these parts without having to sell mine off and lose money, while paying even more for this version. Any info would be greatly appreciated. http://anymoon.com/blog/2010/01/12/cms-upg...ioss-tread-eta/
