VF-18S Hornet Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 This is going a short question. Eversince I got my VF-1J Super Max two weeks ago but in one week when I was taking pictures of both my 1/48 VF-1J Max and my VF-1S hikaru I noticed the seat in the Max was crooked slightly to it's left. I wonder how many VF-1J Max have this same Quality Control problem and how do I fix it?
柿崎速雄 Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 the max crooked slightly to it's left is not a QC problem, it was because of the "IMPROVEMENT".... the left hand of MAX and MIRIA was adjust to be more close to the control stick, that's made the pilot body seat slightly to the left. my MAX and miria also got this "problem".. I don't know is it good or not~ I said: 50/50
Ovatak Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 hey...can you post some pics for me to tell the difference, please?
TheFrenchOne Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Yep Same here on Max's seat. Miriya seems to be in place correctly.
Hurin Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Uh. . . what? The seat is glued incorrectly. Not all are like that. I know, cuz I now have a non-crooked seat. Here's the post with a picture of it. When the seat is straight, the pilots still fit fine. Man. . . I'd better stop there before I lose it completely.
Godzilla Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Hmm, I never noticed that. And I pay attention to detail.
Dangard Ace Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Ooo...."What's wrong with my Yamato?" There's a pinned topic about this stuff.
