technoblue Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 This is the latest Matt Chat episode, which usually focuses only on PC gaming classics and developers. However, this time Matt's guest is Robert Woodhead, and the episode is split into two parts. This first part is devoted to Woodhead's latest projects, like some familar Kickstarter business, and the next will focus more on his Wizardry stuff. There is a nice Macross reference 16 minutes in. I wonder if subtitled Bubblegum Crisis is just the beginning? I guess time will tell. Quote
Hoptimus Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I love Animeigo. I have many of their releases. Had no idea he also did programming! Quote

I remember reading in an old anime magazine (I forgot if it was Animag or Animerica) about how AnimEigo released computer games before importing and subtitling anime. Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 In the UK, AnimEigo releases were handled by a company called Anime Projects. They operated from a place called Bangor in Wales. If you've just done a double-take at that location name, then you've probably seen "Super Deformed Scramble Wars"... Quote
