GMK Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Any word on when the Wave 1/100 Strike/Super kits are due out? Thanks. Quote
electric indigo Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 It's up at Hobbysearch with an August release date. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10276496 Looks not bad but you can get the 1/48 Hasegawa kit for only a few yen more. Quote
connor99 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Don't know why it took WAVE so long to put this out, but I'm just glad the pre-orders are out. Quote
Vifam7 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 It's available at HLJ as well. http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVMC-64/Sci If the prior kits are anything to go by, it should be a pretty decent kit. Quote
MechTech Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 It looks pretty cool. The sprues look like they left room for other stuff in the future. - MT Quote
EXO Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Kinda want these since Bandai dropped the hi metal line and I have my destroid conversion kit. What else do they have in this scale? Quote
GMK Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 They really are nice kits. If Hasegawa did Gerwalks in either 72 or 48, or Battroids in 48, I'd stick with them. But the Wave 1/100 get my vote (cost aside). Now, where's the GPB-1? Do wish they'd packaged it as Super/Strike, not just the strike, but that's just me. Quote
MMORefugee Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I might have to get one of these. Do we know if they'll come with Roy and/or Max markings also? Quote
electric indigo Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 The packs look a bit fat compared to the Hase kits IMO. If I understood Hobbysearch's translation correctly, you need to buy a Battroid to get the Gerwalk mode. I really like Wave's Battroids, but I constantly find myself disagreeing with their price policy. Quote
flyboy Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yep, you need to combine a battroid and fighter kit to make a Gerwalk. Agreed that Wave kits are way over priced - these valks are 3/4 the size of a Hasegawa, have less detail (but arguably better sculpt) and cost just as much. And $30 for a 1/72 Legioss?! They do release some pretty good stuff, though. If I understood Hobbysearch's translation correctly, you need to buy a Battroid to get the Gerwalk mode. electric indigo Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Battroid is up for preorder at Hobbysearch. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10280010 Quote
