Neova Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 (edited) So I just got done watching Yukikaze Operation 1 and want to know what models exist besides the Bandai 1/100 kits? The various reviews on the net says the value are ho hum. For the price of a Hasegawa, you don't get the size or the details. Are any 1/72 or (holds breath) 1/48 or even 1/35 scale kits considered for this series? The planes are quite nice in design and I would like to purchase a set of them in the future. I also checked out wmcheng and LTSO's build ups in the modeling section. Got me excited but the overall quality is less than desirable. Edited December 19, 2003 by Neova Quote
Valkyrie Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 There are two 1/72 kits, of the FFR-32MR/D Supersylph Yukikaze, and the FRX-00 Mave. Both are made by Platz and are pretty pricey at Y12800 each. But they're quite large, and the quality is excelent. The detailing is easily on par with Hasegawa's VF-1. I did reviews of them a while back, but they're on the old forum, which is offline Quote
