Renato Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) Five words and an out of focus photo? That's it?! You must be enjoying it... Edit -- Hey! You changed the photo! Sneaky! Edited November 10, 2010 by Renato Quote
Vi-RS Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Has it been released or are you the lucky guy as always who get the first production run sample, graham? By the way, I won't publish Amy and Jeffrey user id and password in a public forum like this though. Quote
hutch Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Very nice! When does the Angel Birds hit?? Quote
Uxi Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Are those vents really carved into the back? Does it still transform? Quote
BlueMax Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Are those vents really carved into the back? Does it still transform? The vents are painted on. It can still transform, since it is based on the transformable VF-1 mould, with the VF-X specific parts removed (the VF-X isn't transformable as far as the fiction goes) Quote
Old Man Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 So, Graham, when's the official release date? What about the Angel Bird & Fan Racer? Quote
eugimon Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Yamato is saying late november. For those of you guys who are ordering this with me, our shipment is confirmed but check your PM for payment information. Quote
Graham Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 Are those vents really carved into the back? Does it still transform? No the vents are just printed on. Yes, it still transforms, if you remove the optional belly plate. Graham So, Graham, when's the official release date? What about the Angel Bird & Fan Racer? Sorry, no idea when the 'official' release date is. But I see somebody already answered that. Graham Bring a friend day. Graham Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Angel Bird looks beautiful, probably won't get it but still, beautiful... same goes for the X, i think they should have done a little more with it for features, but it still does have the transformation process so i guess i can't complain. Quote
505thAirborne Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I know it was Hasegawa touch for their model kits, but I would like to see ANGEL BIRDS printed on the legs, just gives it that extra bold look. Either way when ever these guys get released my VISA card will get a work out! Quote
zulu Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Hey Graham, I noticed in the first pic it looks like the pilot is holding a brown stick in the cockpit. Am I seeing things or can you please explain what it is? Thanks for the pics. Quote
anime52k8 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Hey Graham, I noticed in the first pic it looks like the pilot is holding a brown stick in the cockpit. Am I seeing things or can you please explain what it is? Thanks for the pics. It's supposed to be the control stick. the toy's cockpit is sculpted to match its DYRL? appearance where it has throttle and the control stick on either side of the pilot. In the TV show the cockpit had a center stick, so TV style pilots are molded with the stick in there hand. this one comes with a TV style roy figure. Quote
Vi-RS Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I wish they release another unpainted kit in this VF-X light gray color so that I can have more custom done. Quote
Loop Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hey Graham, I noticed that yours does not have the details painted in. In the original image they show the vernier thrusters painted in. Like this: Is your version the final version without the paint apps? Quote
ae_productions Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 "Where does he get all those wonderful toys?" Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 No the vents are just printed on. Yes, it still transforms, if you remove the optional belly plate. Graham Sorry, no idea when the 'official' release date is. But I see somebody already answered that. Graham Bring a friend day. Graham Hey Graham, I don't know if anyone here asked before, do yamato have plan to / interest in release the VF-1D angel bird? thank you~ Quote
Vi-RS Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Hey Graham, I don't know if anyone here asked before, do yamato have plan to / interest in release the VF-1D angel bird? thank you~ Yamato is releasing the AB in limited run, but ain't the AB is VF-1A in the show? Why would you want a VF-1D? Quote
505thAirborne Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Yamato is releasing the AB in limited run, but ain't the AB is VF-1A in the show? Why would you want a VF-1D? Probably that nostalgic memory scramble of the Angel Birds flying and seeing Hikaru taking off in a VF-1D!! Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Yamato is releasing the AB in limited run, but ain't the AB is VF-1A in the show? Why would you want a VF-1D? Just a greedy wish, base on the note of hasagawa 1/72 VF-1A angel bird, their have a NO.6 VF-1D in the AB Team, for training & backup usage. That's sound reasonable~ If AB NO.6 finally become a official design, that's seem more complete. Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 if the answer is negative, maybe I'll do it by myself again... prepare one more VF-1D first~ Quote
MacrossMax Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 looks good. waiting for the official release Quote
eugimon Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 They're shipping. Those of you who placed an order through me, you all have PM waiting. Quote
ff95gj Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 The VF-X is shipping already? I thought the Angelbird would arrive first. So I am wrong! Quote
ff95gj Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I don't want to transform it yet, in case I rub off any paint. I like the paint job! Quote
Vi-RS Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I don't want to transform it yet, in case I rub off any paint. I like the paint job! Awesome, so which part of the paint scheme on valkyrie is painted on? The darker gray or lighter gray? Or combination in various parts? Quote
BlueMax Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 No need to transform it, not meant to in the 1st place. Looks good! Quote
Loop Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Arrgh, they did not paint the verniers in or the lasers on the side of the intake. That kinda sucks because in the promo shots they were painted in. Quote
