Ignacio Ocamica Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I was expecting this!!!! Thank you CF18 for posting the link, you made my day Quote
007-vf1 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 They had this one waiting on the back burner.. Jumping for joy.. Time to sell my Club-M 1/48 grail kit... Quote
gwfalcon Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 The first idea coming to my mind is: the leg part, the more detailed head, the gun, the chest part, and the following fast pack and GPB armor will be the replacements of my current 1/48 collections. Owning the ultimate detail 1/48 series will be not a dream anymore. It will definitely to see very soon various paints like even minmay guards. Hasegawa definitely get the right track. No double they will gain great benefit following this line. Many thx for these pix. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Darn it, I was gonna start the thread---seems I'm an hour late. I can post a new pic though: Decal sheet in corner seems to be gold, not yellow though. Quote
gwfalcon Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Furthermore, personally think that if it is successful, they will soon release the vt-1 and ve-1 version. 1/48 ve/t, OMG, I was thinking this dream will be completed by yamato but seems hasegawa will make it true in advance. And I m also wondering why yamato 1/48 line is not ressue with new moterial. Most of bros here will sure collect them without any hesitation. Quote
SVF-Gerwalk Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Decal sheet in corner seems to be gold, not yellow though. Maybe red, the head of the prototype seems to be from a VF-1A. Quote
Kylwell Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Still needs a great honking huge PE set.... Quote
Dobber Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 This looks great!!! I wonder if they'll actually include weapons.......probably not. Chris Quote
jadefalconguard Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Holy cr*p...I need one of those. Any idea on the ETA of this kit ? Here in Europe I can't even find the VF19 So I'll guess HLJ is the only sorce right now Quote
lechuck Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Now if Hasegawa would make Battroid kits in the same scale with pilot, detailed cockpit, weapons, fast/strike pack etc., I would have no need to keep my Yamatos... Quote
007-vf1 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Now if Hasegawa would make Battroid kits in the same scale with pilot, detailed cockpit, weapons, fast/strike pack etc., I would have no need to keep my Yamatos... Most likely that will follow or some garage kit will appear eventually.. Is a given at this scale.. I am wondering of the prices of these extras.. Quote
KOG Water Dragon Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Well I must say, this is pretty darn awesome news... Quote
Fatalist Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Oh hell yes!! Now bring on the weapons set like the 1/72 series!! These new 1/48's are going to be so fun to build and customize!! WOOO!!!!!!! Quote
torc Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 AMAZING!! do you know if the kit have different type of pieces and joints to allows the super pack? (like the 1 72 super version) Quote
Chas Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Now this is something worth getting excited about! Given Hase's track record there is no doubt in my mind that I'll be more than satisfied with this series. Can't wait to make my first Gerwalk custom when the Battroid kits get released! It's so nice to hear the news of an upcomming release and not have any reservations about the finished product. I feel like I used to feel as a kid in the last few weeks before Christmas. WOOOOHOOOOO! Quote
EXO Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Gonna wait for FP version. Great point about the VT and VE though... they're sure to get a lot of toy buyers interested in those. Quote
Gabe Q Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I'm really excited about this! I cannot contain my sheer, unadulterated joy. This is lifechanging... Seriously, I'm about to cry tears of joy. Quote
captain america Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Finally! An affordable 1/48 Bulky Lee! I think it needs many, many aftermarket conversions. I volunteer! Quote
cool8or Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I think it needs many, many aftermarket conversions. I volunteer! That spirit will kill my pocket!! But what the hell!!! Quote
peter Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I just $hit myself......Yep, there is definitely a skid mark in my briefs. Finally! An affordable 1/48 Bulky Lee! I think it needs many, many aftermarket conversions. I volunteer! No, what you need to do my friend, is one-up Hasegawa by going ahead and start work on that 1/32 or 1/24 VF-1. Quote
Silvestri Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Durn it.. no reason to keep my 1/48 Club M kit now... Quote
Grayson72 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Finally! An affordable 1/48 Bulky Lee! I think it needs many, many aftermarket conversions. I volunteer! I fully support your nomination as official, under the radar, aftermarket conversion for the 1/48 VF-1 KING! Snazzy title huh, has a nice ring to it, LOL Quote
D' only Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 That gold colour decal is for 1/72 5000th VF http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-110795-1-1.html Quote
BlueMax Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 (edited) Gonna wait for FP version. Great point about the VT and VE though... they're sure to get a lot of toy buyers interested in those. Not forgetting the 1D as well, unless the Capt'n re-issues his 1/48 conversion kits Edited October 9, 2009 by BlueMax Quote
EXO Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Cap shouldnt waste his time on conversion kits... I say he accessorize it up with 1/48 Destroids and Enemy mechs! lol. Put me down for those ahead of time. Quote
shiroikaze Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I wonder if the wings will swing unlike the YF-19? Quote
BlueMax Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I'm pretty sure the wings will. Even the older model kits could, and I'm pretty sure Hase's earlier 1/72 kits coult, so, no reason why this one can't. And yeah, we'll leave the 1D to Hase. Cap'n, bring on more Macross goodness! Quote
CoryHolmes Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I think it needs many, many aftermarket conversions. I volunteer! It's good that you're doing this. 'Cuz it was a given that if you didn't, some of us were going to light some torches, get some pitchforks, and storm your home and force you to accept gobs of our cash Seriously, I've been less than impressed with some of the details of these 1/48 kits (not that that stopped me from buying them) and anything from you to fill in that void would be a very welcome thing indeed. (Plus hovertanks and Glitter Boys, too ) Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Wow. Looks really good. I wish it was more like the UD from Club-M with removable panels and more options, plus a strike pack. Several things to note: -Arms are more squared when compared to the slender renditions of Yamato's 1/48. -Nose appears a bit longer. -Gun pod nozzle is smaller and more acute. Great start, Hasegawa! Quote
wm cheng Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 YES! Finally a 1/48 that I can get excited about. This might actually break me out of my strict 1/72 scale policy... now where to find the room for this. I too only wished that it had more removable access/fuselage panels and a wing with all the slats, fowler flaps and spoilers detailed and separated. This might be my exception. ;-) Quote
