It is a store chain with multiple shops all over Japan. They specialize is re-selling anime products - toys, manga (so much hentai, site is blocked at my work), anime. They are good for items you may have missed out earlier or items that is hard to find in regular stores. Price is close in eBay in general but you can find good deals if the item is not popular in Japan.

A few stores list it as 16cm, (just over 6 inches) so it's closer to 1/10 scale. That makes sense given their price and the fact that they're related to the figuarts line.

Assembling it takes a bit of work, since the flag is one huge, heavy piece of hard plastic and is held up by those two metal rods. Comes with some red string to tie it to the flagpole. (You're supposed to snip off the ends after tying it to the pole, but I left them on in case I need to disassemble it later.) Quality is on par with the previous round of Macross 1kuji figures, though there are some obvious sloppy patches on the flag. Definitely the best sculpt of Sheryl's behind. (Too bad the flag kinda covers it up.) And she actually looks like Sheryl! Anyone who's kept up with Frontier figures knows that they seem to have a hard time getting her face right. Overall it's an impressive display piece, thanks to the excellent sculpt and massive flag accessory. Where can you order these? I haven't been able to find any on the typical sites... Picked them up from Mandarake. Banpresto's 1kuji figures generally aren't available through regular retail outlets. http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/

Major Focker Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 just won an Orleans Sheryl on yahoo japan auctions for 6500yen. probably works out to 8000yen max when i factor in the proxy service commission and intra-japan shipping. from early auctions last weekend asking 10k, prices seems to have bottomed out at 7k (i was probably lucky because the one i bid on ended midnight in japan) and are picking up again towards 8k. those who want one, better get in now.

A little disappointed that they couldn't do her one-legged standing pose without the extra metal rods for support though. I do like that her clothes are separate parts and not just painted on. Gives the figure more depth and detail. And it makes it possible to look down her shirt and up her shorts. You can't really see it in the pics, but yes they made the extra effort to include her panties peaking out from her shorts. I'm very happy with the purchase of these two figures. Now if only they'd give this kind of treatment to their final outfits seen in the second movie.

What's the point of fully sculpting the body with separate clothing only to manufacture it so that you have to destroy the thing in order to make it cast-offable. If they don't want the clothing to be removable sculpt them as part of the body in the first place, the clothing will look better if you do it that way.
