Wow! Is that magazine actually on sale? Because I havent been able to find any information on it anywhere...

Umm, no. That is an advert for Studio TMA's latest cosplay pron video. It is their second Macross one, but this time they have an Australian porn star, Dani Jensen, playing Sheryl Nome.

Well info on the second movie is coming ... but only if you attend the GIRASAMA CARNIVAL!

Held at Yokohama Pacifico, the event will feature the cast of Macross F on stage, as well as news regarding the upcoming theatrical release (news? as in a release date? heres hoping!)

There will also be Macross cosplay and a karaoke corner.

Wow... this is the same venue I saw the Final Galaxy Tour at (Mayn, Megumi and Yoko Kanno). A couple of years on and it looks like Im going there again, lol.

I'm not sure when it was released, but I spotted it by chance at the local Animate.

The one thing most conspicuously absent from the book releases for Frontier is mecha line art.

We know Hideki Tenjin is releasing a new art book soon (though a sequel to Valkyries would have been preferred considering how much artwork he did for the Chronicle series!) so I am hoping to see a book by Kawamori either this year or shortly after the second Frontier movie comes out.

I don't know where you got your information from, but DJ is from California.

I just saw someone else say she was,not from my own info,hence why i said it in a questioning manner,It doesnt really matter were they are from.

wow, a new valkyries book! I hope the VF-25 painting shown in a recent anime fair in Japan will be included (can't remember what event was that, there was a painting of the VF-25 in the Statelight booth I think)

The one with Alto and the 25 on the grass, right? Yeah, I remember Graham asking Tenjin about that painting a few weeks ago, and he replied that it will indeed be in the book, so don't worry.

Hmmm...in addition, Katsuyuki Konishi (Linky) (VA: Ozma Lee) is gonna be there as well...I'd watch out for flying cookware during the concerts. And if he brings a a pineapple upside-down cake, you might want to blast the Fire Bomber songs at full volume. That's assuming the Gurren Lagann fans don't keep him busy.

Damn! That is one awesome lineup! Congrats to those who will finally get to see Mamegu and May'n! Autographs too! We NEVER get autograph sessions in Japan! I'm insanely jealous!

If anyone who is going wants to do a fellow fan a favour and get something autographed for me, please drop me a PM!

(Im sure I can send you something from Japan in return! ;-) )

Also, I just realised what a hectic schedule this will be for poor Megumi! She has gigs in Tokyo on the 29th and 30th (Im going on the 30th) and will probably then have to get on a plane first thing the next morning to make AX...damn.

This slide is from Namco Bandai’s end of year financial presentation and it’s about maximizing the value of their contents.

One example of this new business model is the Tales of Vesperia Blu-ray download code bundle. The circle right below it has another example with Macross Frontier The Movie: The False Diva. It says movie + game software.

Huh, that’s interesting because there isn’t a game based on The False Diva. It’s been almost two years since Macross: Ace Frontier which was released on the PSP. We’re probably due for another Macross game anyway. The question is what platform will it be released on PSP or PS3/Xbox 360.

Just got that book and it's quite good. Not just the Macross stuff, but the Gundam art, Votoms, Eureka 7 and some Patlabor. Pricey, but a very cool book.

I have a feeling that this means that the first movie (False Songstress) will be released on DVD/BR at about the same time.
