macrossnake Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 MQ will be 34 cm tall in attack mode, so it is about 1:1000 to 1:1200? Thanks for the photo. Looking great. It is big, and I like it! And coming in the autumn, can't wait! Hope it is not too expensive.
D_Unit Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 About 13 1/2" is darn good... now it's a definite must-have for me.
AcroRay Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 As an aside - That grey-dusted prototype is probably the clearest, most-detailed view of the Quarter I've ever seen.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) how about a Revoltech (with changeable mode) Macross Quarter to accompany the 1/2000 SDF?? kewl. Edited March 22, 2009 by ruskiiVFaussie
CF18 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) Painted display! Source: 1, 2 Edited March 25, 2009 by CF18
Negotiator Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 doesn't look like shiny plastic. hope it stays that way. thanks for the pics!
Dangard Ace Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Doesn't look like it can holds those cannons up. Boo!!
anotheran Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 wow that Macross Quarter is looking really good.. about the same size as the VF-25's. I wasn't planning to buy it but these pics are warming me up to the idea. If it comes out a month before Ozma armored then I'm getting it.
eriku Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 That's fantastic. I want to see it with the flight deck holstered.
edwin3060 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 That's fantastic. I want to see it with the flight deck holstered. IF it can be holstered. That would be super cool!
eriku Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Looks like he's got hands on each arm so I'll assume the flight deck and cannon can be removed. If the flight deck can be removed, it can be holstered. Even if I have to use a rubber band, it'll be holstered!
505thAirborne Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 Looks really good so far painted!! However is that simply the pose they chose or is that Mac quarter having a hard keeping it up, The Guns & shield I mean?
eriku Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) That seems to be the standard Quarter pose. We wont know how well it holds those monsters until someone holds the toy. It has ratchet joints in the shoulders which should help. Hopefully the elbows will have ratchets, too. As for the wrist joints, it almost looks like there are connection points on the forearms that the cannon and flight deck can plug into. If so, that will give some serious relief to the wrist joints. Salamander Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Looks really good so far painted!! However is that simply the pose they chose or is that Mac quarter having a hard keeping it up, The Guns & shield I mean? Considering the size of the gun and shield, I think they'll have a hard time making joints that can hold them up. Either the joint do hold them up and moving the joints is near impossible without breaking the arms, or they'll won't hold them up. I personally prefer the second option, and it would be great if Bandai included a stand to hold them up...
miriya Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Looks fantastic! I cant wait to see the painted cruzer mode. If (when?) I get this I will probably display in cruzer mode. It is strange for me because I am a battroid guy but I just love cruzer mode so much on the quarter. Too bad I am way to broke to afford this toy.
505thAirborne Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 I feel you on the broke $$ part Miriya, I want this one alot, really cool design. But we still got time to save some money and get one!!

Kicker773 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I'm sold ....but so many things to buy.. so little $$ left.. and still have to hit the 150 barrier for valkyries =(
CF18 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 For other pages in the magazine: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...st&p=730873
Kicker773 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 looks like some of the lasers fell off the left leg...oh oh.. doesn't look promising.. hope its not like that when we get it where the lasers/turret guns fall off easily
logos Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) Damn I was hoping it would be a bit larger than the DX VF-25s then it is....... Oh well it's still cool. Edited March 25, 2009 by logos
eriku Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Wow, articulated fingers on this beast! DROOOOOOOOL
eugimon Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 mmm, I think it looks better in that light grey/white paint job than in the actual colors... looks damn impressive.
edwin3060 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Wow it looks amazing! I don't see any connection points for the flight deck on the back though, so I guess it's rubber band time for eriku?
eriku Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Wow it looks amazing! I don't see any connection points for the flight deck on the back though, so I guess it's rubber band time for eriku? Whatever it takes for OMFG HE HOLSTERED THE FLIGHT DECK!!?!
eugimon Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Whatever it takes for OMFG HE HOLSTERED THE FLIGHT DECK!!?! magnets?
eriku Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 If it were lighter I could go the Yamato route and use some double-sided tape to hold it on.
macrossnake Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Painted display! Source: 1, 2 Thanks for posting these. It looks amazing.
Salamander Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 looks like some of the lasers fell off the left leg...oh oh.. doesn't look promising.. hope its not like that when we get it where the lasers/turret guns fall off easily It's a resin hardcopy. Resin is quite fragile. Stop trolling.
Arthurius Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 wow, this looks great, i think i would only have the one big gun held with the two hands, but we will see, just pray it wont be over expensive.
