Drad Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 (edited) Pleasepleaseplease tell me these are prebuilt/prepainted figures and not kits? Please? EDIT: Nevermind, d'oh. The sign says they're non-scale action figures. I knew that. I wants. Edited August 26, 2004 by Drad
Noriko Takaya Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Got this off 2chan. Provide link, please!
gnollman Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I am SO buying all of these... maybe even multiples.... Damn, but they look great....
eugimon Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 yes, please give us a link and some info.. are these kits? are they figures? are they posable toys?
Drad Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Damn, but they look great.... I thought the BGC 2040 redesigns were really nice too, actually. But you can't go wrong with classics.
wolfx Posted August 26, 2004 Author Posted August 26, 2004 2chan doesn't allow linking that's why i attached it here. Its an imageboard. I don't have any info. Sorry. http://www.2chan.net Toys section http://cgi.2chan.net/y/src/1093455814226.jpg
Drad Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Preciousssss........ Oh no. Dangard Gollum, the Toymongering Mod, lurks among us...
halfan Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I wish Yamato would make toys out of the original hard suits instead of the 2040 redesigns Still they look nice and the joints are well hidden.
EXO Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I wish Yamato would make toys out of the original hard suits instead of the 2040 redesigns Still they look nice and the joints are well hidden. Ditto... I'll get them anyway, close enough.
Drad Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I wish Yamato would make toys out of the original hard suits instead of the 2040 redesigns Still they look nice and the joints are well hidden. Those are the classic BGC hardsuits. Not the 2040 redesigns.
yellowlightman Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I wish Yamato would make toys out of the original hard suits instead of the 2040 redesigns Still they look nice and the joints are well hidden. Those are the classic BGC hardsuits. Not the 2040 redesigns. I haven't watched BGC in forever, but those look like the suits introduced near the end of the series. Could be wrong though, I'll pick them up if they turn out to be decent. Wouldn't touch 2040 with a 10-foot pole.
areaseven Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Those are the classic BGC hardsuits. Not the 2040 redesigns. Can we get some lineart posted to compare with the prototypes?
yellowlightman Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Judging by the Priss alone, its the second gen hardsuits from the original OAV. Lots of good pics can be found at ravensgarage.com
dr_vandermeer Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 A MOTOSLAVE IS THAT MUCH CLOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon baby, come to papa. Those figures look nice. I wonder what the final size'll be.
areaseven Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Judging by the Priss alone, its the second gen hardsuits from the original OAV. In that case, I must have those.
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 hmmm....looks like yamato is gonna rape my wallet yet again
Deadzone Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I have been waiting a very long time for these to come out. Wish I had more money to buy some of them. Knowing Yamato's record the price will be.... ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Or fifty dollars... somewhere in between there.
rikiryou Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Actually... no. That pic from the first site = Atelier Sai's. Not Yammies. http://orz.jpn.org/events/etc/char-hobby04/MP-02.html
yellowlightman Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 next So is this the Yamato toy? I'm getting confused here. Either way, this one is the second gen hardsuit design as well. It's missing the left arm attachment and the rivet things on the legs, but still the same suit.

Pat Payne Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 (edited) I wonder if Animeigo might try to work out a deal to sell these...they ARE releasing an updated BCG box set after all... and there's no pesky licensing issues like another favorite Yamato toy I could mention... *coughvalkscough* Also, I wonder if that ominous pair of legs behind priss in the second picture might hearald not only the Knight Sabers but the DD battle armor as well... It's missing the left arm attachment and the rivet things on the legs, but still the same suit. If memory serves, her 2nd Gen hardsuit didn't get the Leg Bombers or the left arm thing (mine launcher?) until the final OVA, Scoop Chase. They were absent during Red Eyes and Double Vision.
yellowlightman Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 If memory serves, her 2nd Gen hardsuit didn't get the Leg Bombers or the left arm thing (mine launcher?) until the final OVA, Scoop Chase. They were absent during Red Eyes and Double Vision. That sounds like it could be true, as I said I havent seen the series in forever. I'm really happy after all these years were getting a toy like this, hopefully it'll sell well enough to make for a decent sized lineup. Although thats probably just wishful thinking.
Nightbat Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 When will the hurting stop? ...financially that is me want, me gotta budget, me no possibility to stow away extra cash seems like I'm gonna need a second job
eugimon Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 man, they look so good.. the joints are hidden so well! I'm hoping they make the bikes as well now... drool drool course, then we could have all new flame wars... moto-slaves versus cyclones.
rnurmin Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Wow, Finally, Bubblegum Crisis figures. So, where's the prototype for Moto-Slave?
