xstoys
I'm not sure if anyone's seen this yet. It's a fan made video using scenes from the Macross DYRL video game & Macross Plus put to dialog & music from Top Gun. Very well made. F-ZeroOne
Excellent work and a nice piece of lateral thinking ("So, everyone uses the Top Gun soundtrack in Macross videos - so lets take that a bit further... ")
RT junkie
Where did that VF-1 footage in the beginning come from? I don't remember such high quality images of those planes before......

Nomake Wan
I believe its from the DYRL game for PS2. 415483[/snapback] Close but no cigar. DYRL for Sega Saturn (and PSX, I think). The PS2 game is entirely 3DCG and opens with a 3DCG version of the original Macross opening (somewhat--same music, same ending, but different scenes in between). Skullsixx
I actually avoided watching this for a loooong time. I saw Top Gun so many times as a kid that I honestly never wanna see it again. But, that was a great video. My props to the editor! Small Johnson? I laughed my ass off at that!!!

Flaming Guantlet
I remember catching this at Fanime '03 many moons ago. Once the masses(we're talking about a full auditorium here) saw the VFs they couldn't stop cheering. Needles to say it was a hit with the crowd.
