Renato
So, many of you might be familiar with Patrick Macias, long-time Japanese subculture journalist and editor of Otaku USA magazine. He, along with Otaku Encyclopedia author Patrick W. Galbraith, as well as MW's very own saviour Save, and myself (also MW member Alex, who, though mostly quiet, once the recording had ended, actually exploded in an uncontrollable rage of fury after being reminded of the panty episode in Macross Frontier*) all got together this week to discuss the future of the Japanese contents industry. Check out the podcast on Patrick's blog here, and do not hesitate to give your opinions. I think Macross gets brought up a couple of times, also. http://patrickmacias.blogs.com/er/2009/10/...e.html#comments *This may not have actually happened. Roy Focker
Uggh Podcast. There always tends to be one dominating speaker. Who tries to sound really intelligent about a stupid subject. Who that idiot in this one? Ohh Moe & Yaoi are about creativity! People don't look at that stuff because it is a fetish of theirs. They look because of some deeper social, psychological & culture thing. Listening to that podcast you'd think they're talking something important. VFTF1
I liked the Panty Episode in Macross Frontier because I have a fetish for panties. Besides, lingerie has a fine tradition in Macross. Frontier just expanded it from one short scene with Misa checking out some panties to an entire episode starring panties. One of the best episodes in the entire Macross saga IMO. In fact, I think I should venture into the "Future Macross series" topic now because I suddenly got a wonderful vision for a future OVA - and yes, it involves panties and two hours.
