arcane art Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 (edited) hi guys, I am just letting you know about my latest custom figures THE INVID SCOUTS in 1/48 SCALE (or inbit iiga if you are a mospeada fan). these guys are the first in a new line of invid robotech/mospeada mecha, i will be making all of the invid mecha too, but right now i will tell you about the scouts. each scout comes with a display base and it is completely removable, if you want to order one of the scouts then it will arrive at your door fully assembled, painted and detailed ready to display. THIS IS NOT A KIT but a completed collectable.each scout is made of very strong high grade resin which feels and looks like excellent quality plastic. the posts that the invids are displayed on are black fibreglass rods and are extremely strong(and completely removeable) i have made these guys in 1/48 scale too so they match the toynami, aoshima and CMs corportaion alpha toys as well as the glorious yamato valks so you will have lots to display these guys against. i bought many many sources of original line art as well as the animations so that i could get the design right and ofcourse this is original work sculpted by me and not a recast of somebody elses work. i have made the scouts in all the forms we saw on the show. invid scout (standing) invid scout (flying) invid scout (space booster) armed invid scout (standing) armed invid scout (flying) armed invid scout (space booster) i have also included a pic of each beside the aoshima/toynami alpha so that you can see the scale. i am afraid that i have to limit these guys to 20 worldwide and after they have sold out then thats it i am afraid.and to keep it fair i will offer my new invid mechas to the people who have already bought the scout that way if you want to collect the set you can without fear of missing out on one of the upcoming mechas. it will be first come first served too and i will take orders in the order they were recieved.i think that is fairest. both the armed and regular scouts (flying or standing) are US$ 75 each and the space booster versions are US$85 and keep in mind that this is for a finished and painted figure with loads of detailing that is limited to 20 worldwide and each one takes hours and hours to complete.the shipping is US$18 worldwide via airmail. if you want more than one i will ship as many as you want for US$18 and i will cover the extra shipping and i will also give you a discount on the figures themselves the more you get the better the discount just email me ok. if you would like to order one (or several:) please email me at lots_of_great_toys@yahoo.com and i will send you a paypal invoice and as soon as that is paid i will ship your scouts off to you. some of you may have bought my transformers customs and if you did you will know that i am a trustworthy seller. if you would like the added security of ebay i can set up an auction for you but there will be an additional fee to cover the ebay fees etc. here the albums link this has all of the invids and a couple of transformers customs too http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arcane_mechanics/ just go to the individual folders on the left. if you are having trouble here are the links to the individual folders invid scout: http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arc...out%20Robotech/ invid scout (flying): http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arc...Scout%20Flying/ invid scout (space booster): http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arc...cout%20Booster/ armed invid scout: http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arc...out%20Robotech/ armed invid scout (flying): http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arc...Scout%20Flying/ armed invid scout (space booster) http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd5/arc...cout%20Booster/ Edited November 23, 2007 by arcane art Quote
CoryHolmes Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 (edited) Are they articulated? No, they only speak in burbles and blips. Edited November 23, 2007 by CoryHolmes Quote
Uxi Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 But yeah, that's articulate, I think. :ph3ar: Quote
arcane art Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 hi again, these guys are all static display models and are designed to be seen in the pose they are in. it simply wasnt worth adding articulation or removable space boosters as i have found in the past that people buy them to display them. and i thought that it was better not to sacrifice design elements to have articulation or a removable space booster(at no point in the show did we ever see a space booster being removed, and the legs are also replaced with thrusters in space booster form so if you took it off he would have no engine and no legs and thats kind of sad...........poor little invid:) this is also why i did them in diffenernt poses (standing walking etc) so that people would have a choice as to what one they got. if you have any other questions please let me know. my email is lots_of_great_toys@yahoo.com Quote
newgendrool Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 WOW those invid are perfect, i have already ordered all 6 , yummy Quote
arcane art Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 hi guys i am selling off the last of my invids at a reduced price as i will very soon be releasing my new invid mecha which will be the pincer (gamo for mospeada fans) thats the big blue command invid. anyway the scouts are available on ebay right now in all six different varieties and they have all been discounted so check em out and maybe get one if you want. the link to my auctions is http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZarcane_art you may have to cut and paste that.if you have any questions at all please feel free to email me at lots_of_great_toys@yahoo.com NOTE: as i stated before since these have to be such a limited number i can only offer the new invids like the gamo to those that bought the invid scout (that way if you wanted to collect the set you wouldnt miss out) Quote
