Deneb Class Cruiser

The Kaitos is one of several Deneb Class Cruisers that function as front line warships for the Macross Galaxy fleet. As it is for all ships in the Macross Galaxy Fleet, the Deneb Class Cruisers are built with the latest technology. The crews are principally cyborgs and as such the Macross Galaxy Executive leadership is able to control the consciousness of the crews and thus coordinate the fleet with a superhuman level of skill. The technology for this cybernetic integration is an offshoot of efforts made by the Macross Galaxy fleet to develop fold jamming technology used to disrupt Vajra hive mind communications. This technology was subsequently seized by the Macross Frontier Government forces after refugees from Macross Galaxy were absorbed into the Frontier fleet. The Macross Frontier fleet used the technology as part of their offensive plans against the Vajra and research of the technology inspired development of the implant shells used to control the Vajra.
