  1. Past hour
  2. Today's haul... all four volumes of the Macross Frontier TV novelization, both volumes of the Macross Frontier movie novelization, both Macross Frontier short story collections, and both volumes of the Macross Delta novelization.
  3. Y'know... as much as I'm not a fan of what Michael Bay did with the Transformers movies, his style would probably work for Outrun. Hot girl, lots of glamour shots of the cars, maybe some high speed chases (with explosions). Pretty sure I've seen worse.
  4. Unboxing of the Frontier's latest album (release on April 29th 2025). XD
  5. Today
  6. I'm gonna buy 2 or 3. Love Mac 7 mechs. It's a bit sad to hear people say they will pass on this and wait for a DX VF-19F, S or P. I know the VF-19 Kai has always been a contentious design and Basara. a polarising character. Things is, if everybody thinks that way and not enough people buy the DX Fire Valk, then it lowers the chance of Bandai releasing variations in the future. So, if you can financially afford, it and you at least like the Fire Valk design even a little, then I hope you consider to buy one, to increase the chance of us getting a DX VF-19F/S/P.
  7. I guess I’ve got Last of us for Sundays, Gundam and maybe Andor for Tuesdays. Feels a little like network days again
  8. Very cool! Are the files designed for FDM or SLA printers? And roughly how large is a 1/72 print in terms of actual size, do you know?
  9. Yesterday
  10. Posting here mostly because its Macross II related, but I've never seen this art book before, wonder if it might be included in the Animeigo set too? Love the pre-production stuff https://www.ebay.com/itm/316687646572 oh.looks like the release date is tomorrow, neat! https://japanese-creative-books.com/product/illustration/art-of-battle-koichi-ohata-robot-chronicle/
  11. Given what they were originally going to do , I thought the first Bullseye fight scene absolutely served its purpose. Overall, it seemed like they were running parallel stories of Murdock and Fisk trying to tamp down their darker tendencies. It’s interesting that Fisk really didn’t break his Netflix Season 3 promise. I also liked that you couldn’t really say he was being a pure EVIL villain with most of his actions for most of the season. I am curious to see how next season pans out. But I have two concerns:
  12. Avoided all the spoilers for the new daredevil until we could finish a big rewatch of the Netflix Daredevil and punisher and just to make sure nothing was missed defenders. Before season three of daredevil. Took a bit, but did finally get through all that and watched all of the episodes of born again over the weekend. gotta say I wasn’t impressed with the first few episodes, especially how badly handled the first episode was. The action was filmed extremely bad and the story felt like a jumble. We didn’t do a rewatch of Hawkeye or echo and I really couldn’t remember if either of those explained how Fisk avoided jail. Really didn’t want to rewatch echo, I just remember he was gonna run for mayor and had his brain turned to mush. So I felt kinda lost even though we had just done a major rewatch of the important Netflix stuff that might lead up here. It seemed really weird that the wife was able to run all of Fisk’s criminal businesses even though she was just an arts dealer and they really didn’t do much to explain how Fisk actually avoided prison until a quick one minute or less conversation at almost the end of the season. I do have to say that the action for the most part improved after that terrible fight with Bullseye. I do think they should not have used so much Snyder style slow motion though, especially with the punisher scenes. I think the biggest problem though is that the show just kinda felt like a redo of season three rather than a continuation. Fisk has everyone outmaneuver with law enforcement and government on his side and Daredevil has lost his focus. the whole thing of Fisk taking over by becoming Mayor still feels really far fetched and the fact that the citizens are ok with this police task force that doesn’t use body cams was also a bit tough to swallow. And the city lost its 💩over losing power for a few hours was way over the top. All complaining aside, I am glad the show is back and it probably is more entertaining to watch than most of the Disney plus marvel shows or D+ shows overall recently. Hopefully now the next season will be a bit more focused
  13. Are you planning on putting the digitizations up publicly? Want to know if I should hold off on buying my own secondhand copies of the short story collections.
  14. The /portable/ devs went bankrupt. They haven't made a SRW in ten years. The main devs are a direct subsidiary of Bandai.
  15. The season 2 reviews are in, and to the surprise of no one, they're stellar. i wish they weren't holding this thing until 9PM EST tomorrow. I go to bed at 10.
  16. Quite a haul today... all four Macross Frontier TV novels, both Macross Frontier movie novels, both Macross Delta novels, and both Macross Frontier shortstory collections. Gonna get cracking on those over the next couple days and start digitizing them before the end of the quarter.
  17. This is true, though the exemption may go away soon. It was providing advantages to companies like SHEIN and Temu that shipped individually. Was hoping I would be able to avoid some of the tariffs with them being de minimus but the way the tariffs have changed day-to-day with this Admin it is hard to tell what the tariffs may be and if the this exemption will continue after early May.
