  1. Past hour
  2. @DeltaE27 So glad you shared these great builds. I love the color schemes and the storytelling. Iā€™m sold on finding a wave version if the price is right. Inspiring. šŸ‘

  4. The 145% tarrif would make the shipping cost seem reasonable....no bright sides to be had for a while....
  5. 2 the both of you. 1st Don't act like the victim when you were the first to add fuel to the fire by publicly mocking them. 2nd If someone does insult you don't resort to calling them names because now we have two problems. 3rd I'm feeling generous and will be hiding some of these offensive posts. This a gentle reminder to end it. 4th I don't see how we can avoid discussion about pricing and price changes. Best thing I can say about that is try to leave your editorial opinions on the reason why out of the discussion. We all know the reason why.
  6. I'll miss Momoa's Aquaman, but I'm glad he's heading into a character he really wants to play. Though he is not the main villain, hopefully his scenes will be impactful. And... currently having higher hopes for Supergirl, Woman of Tomorrow than Superman and Krypto...
  7. Chopper.
  8. And to think that scene was so shocking that people walked out of the theater after seeing it the first time. But now... after a thousand viewings... lol.
  9. Nope...just 8 https://www.macrossworld.com/macross/models/arii/arii_main.htm 15th Anniversary 1/100 and 1/170 Factories Arii reissues all their original 300 yen kits for the 2nd time. New box art featured, and each kit comes with a small PVC Macross character (8 unique figures total)
  10. I have seen those examples of the pre painted figures, but it seems to be the same set of 6 figures each time (Roy, 2x Minmay, Misa, Hikaru, Max, Miria). No pictures of any other characters - at least Quamzin is in my set which leads me to believe there should/could be more.

Same concern on the HMR white plastic. Makes me think abt waiting for a DX version.
  12. MKT

    HMR VF-19P

The HMR VF-0D also has somewhat white, or rather, unpainted greyish landing gears.
  13. A gentle wipe with mild soap and warm water usually does wonders for old Yamato plastic.
  14. I could've sworn I already posted this on here, but I guess not. I'm nearly done with my modified Imai 1:100 Armored VF-1J. It's altered with custom ball joints, better hands, and aftermarket decals. Actually, the only decal I used from the original decal sheet (which was pretty worn, ugly, and barely usable) is that flame/torch thingy on its waist. Uncannily, several spare decals from the 1:72 Hasegawa kit fit perfectly on this 1:100 kit. the standard UN Spacy roundel I used for the wing on the back came from a sheet of basic Macross decals from China on eBay. Other warning labels and such came from HiQParts generic aftermarket decals. I used the same leftover mixed paints from the 1:72 Hasegawa one, but made this one Millia's red Valk instead. Yes, I know that Nichmo made a hypothetical Millia's Armored Valk in 1:200 scale back in the day, but I don't prefer that scheme because I figure that the armor parts would all have the same, uniform paint scheme across all the Valks.

    HMR VF-19P

Good point, I'm mostly curious because the Fire Valk was the first one they actually released with, I think. Will be interesting to see if they don't change them.

    HMR VF-19P

Bandai has done white landing gear on prototype before and then they don't end up that way so we will see.
  17. Chronocidal

    HMR VF-19P

Can I also just.. point and laugh.. that Bandai finally are making white gear... and this is like the only oddball whose canon gear aren't white?

  19. Well, on the bright side at least the tariffs are only on the base cost, and not the exorbitant shipping?
  20. Started Classic Stars... a series that does such a bad job of explaining its own premise that I'm still not sure what it's actually about. The best part is, nobody else seems to know either. Its English wikipedia page has no real info, and its Japanese wikipedia page doesn't exist. (It literally just redirects to the stub article for the production company.) What little I can glean from this atrociously written mess is that the protagonist is a teenage boxing enthusiast who suffered a career ending eye injury, and in exchange for a very pricy surgery to restore his vision he agreed to attend an exclusive private school. What he wasn't told (or didn't pay attention to?) was that he was to attend as a music major not as an athlete and that he was to be involved in some kind of project to study emotions (or manufacture a boy band? I can't tell) using a massive holographic stage and pop songs based on public domain classical music. EDIT: No amount of context can make this make sense. At one point, a character says without a trace of irony "That's right! You can even punch people with songs!". F***ING WHAT. Nobody tell Basara. šŸ¤£
  21. Combination, supreme, super supreme- whatever they're calling their fully loaded pizza- yes. Just cheese is too bland and lacking texture and flavors that a combination of toppings bring to the experience. so off topic right now. Finished S2 of Pantheon today and it was both really well done and, thankfully, complete, unlike so many other shows that get axed before reaching a satisfying resolution. Highly recommended. Working our way through some older season eps of Black Mirror that we haven't seen yet before moving on to S7. Such a good series. One of the eps we watched today was called "Mazey Day".
  22. Mommar

    HMR VF-19P

I do have a concern, their latest white colored Valks look really cheap. Like the 0S, the white plastic looks terrible.
  23. Hey, it's gotta be for somebody besides suckers who buy everything to write Transformers reviews on a Macross message board.
