    Indeed, it does look familiar... because that is the box art for the Hasegawa 1/72 scale Macross Zero F-14A++ Super Tomcat kit by Tenjin Hidetaka. (It's also found on page 42 of Valkyries: Tenjin Hidetaka Art Works of Macross AKA Valkyries: First Sortie.)

    The magnets are doing a great job of keeping the legs connected. So much weight has been added to this 1/55 due to so many modifications. But still, there is more to do.

    I could not disagree more. I love how blurring the visuals really captures just how crazy-fast and frenetic the action is to a bystander, because we, the audience, are bystanders ourselves. You might not have gotten far enough into season 2 to see three scenes where highly skilled hunters are dumbfounded that they can't follow the action because it drives home the point just how OPed our protagonist is compared to S ranks. Those particular scenes would have been far less impactful for me if the animators had animated smooth and clear visuals of each battle. My preferences aside, I totally get your point and I can understand someone wanting a bit more from the animation. I can't wait for season 3!

    Saw this article about the unmade Super Tomcat F-14, with an artist's rendition of the fighter. Aren't those UN Spacy markings on the wing and fuselage?     Another minor update. Have been working on making the cafe Makina sits in during Episode 1 when she's spying on the marine base in Al Shahal. It proved a bit difficult, because the shot as shown is mostly impossible given what we're shown of the geography of the area, so I had to improvise somewhat. Instead of a neighborhood cafe on a hill as shown (there are no hills on the Al Shahal map), I instead biult a tiered promanade onto one of the arcology towers in the rough vicinity of the marine base (which also can't be where it's shown in the anime, but that's a whole other diatribe). Anyway, sharing some shots and hopeful to get back to something more fun soon, though I did actually enjoy figuring out how a player could move through this space and reach every level. More to come.

    So I am about halfway through Solo Leveling S2. Its not bad, better then I expected it to be. I do have a nitpick though.,... and its not just this series that has this issue. The fight scenes are very sloppy, I understand its supposed to emulate speed, but its just random images and blurs with sound effects. Some are better then others.. but 2 are terrible.. 1 is the fight with the high orc boss... and 2 is the Demon King fight. Its literally flashy images with sounds then a pause showing the character.. then more flashy images and other random fight type imagery and then pause. Its just not very fluid, seems 2nd rate.

    I have no idea what is going on but it looks well made. That being said... I'm annoyed it takes place in the future but its not a AvP with Colonial Marines kind of film. That's all I want, lol.
