@MechTechโThe BEST CA accelerator, gap filler, or for building up areas with CA is plain ole baking soda (like Arm and Hammer). It's non-toxic and gives body to the area you build it up in. MUCH cheaper too!โ Wow! I will give that a go next time I fill some gaps. Thanks so much for the insider tip. ๐

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's larger, more posable, and distinctly GeeWunnier. With Fort Max, I'd say the bigger, the better... depending on the asking price, of course. ๐- 9252 replies

"Colony drop".... as in "thousands of people screaming as they plummet to their deaths aboard a giant metal colony about to impact with a city that also has thousands of people screaming as they're all about to die?" https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ColonyDrop Or do they just drop an empty colony in the middle of nowhere and turn it into a Walmart or something?- 3748 replies

Yeah, it can be a pain working in Photoshop; you learn very quickly to save in layers and to save often. Learned all that the hard way working on a graphic novel the past 11 years (my own, non-Macross). - Today

@electric indigo Miami Blassty! The Crocket and Tubs mecha!๐ There's a flashback! @Papa Rat @Thom The BEST CA accelerator, gap filler, or for building up areas with CA is plain ole baking soda (like Arm and Hammer). It's non-toxic and gives body to the area you build it up in. MUCH cheaper too! @derex3592 How did you get stuck with the litter box!?!๐ That's going to be a sweet bench area! Made some progress on the Dougram kit. The switch for the main gun (two position - up and down) is much smaller than the original switch that came with the "missile switch" assembly. So I had to make a spacer for the hole and a new cover to go over the top. I've have the guts of an "electronic sparkler" sitting around. Originally I bought it for the fiber optics that came out of it. Now the rest of the guts are going to make the light flash and give it a little pulsating white noise. Better than just a light. Radio Shack (which has so many stores closing down - including the one by me๐) had these cool pink LEDs. More anime realistic and not plain ole white or red. Looking for a good location to install everything, the gun itself seemed good. So I milled out the vents for detail and the speakers to vent through. I took coffee filter screen and cut some pieces to fit into the slotted areas. And everything neatly installed. 1. The PC board was shortened and re-soldered with new wire runs. 2. A recycled laptop speaker was used instead of the cheap stock unit (and sounds better). 3. The PC board was glued to the speaker to keep it all a small package. 4. The ABS speaker was glued to the styrene bits by using acetone on the ABS and Tamiya cement on the styrene. Both joints were well soaked and put together. You can weld unlike plastics together - sometimes. And the whole thing put together. It looks and sounds pretty cool now! Thanks for checking in! - MT

If you're talking about the Has/Tak Titan, yeah, but if you mean Big Mac, it already does look more like Fortress Maximus and not a Metroplex repaint. It's even got most of the G1 toy's sticker details. My biggest gripe with Big Mac is that he's too big.- 9252 replies

I did, but I've been a fan of Musou games since Dynasty Warriors 3 on the PS2. There are better Musou games than the Gundam ones, and for Gundam hack-n-slash games the Breakers games are better, but if you like Musou games and Gundam then they're still fun.

Wow! Stunning paint job! Outside of the painting there are some very subtle changes to the kit. The bicep area on the kit is tapered from top to bottom, this build is square. Plus I'd be interested to see how the hand was modified. It's funny how when using this paint technique removing panel lines and details actually improves the impact.

I donโt think it will get to super petty pedophile Char. He didnโt lose the war, spacenoids gained independence, and wasnโt turned into a cyber newtype with a taste for the underage, and I donโt think he has the ability politically to do a colony drop. For all we know, his soul could have been swallowed by the gundam and may have become part of all the gundams and will lead to some kind of human instrumentatality- 3748 replies

THE LAST OF US Season 2 started last night, I thoroughly enjoy it. Captures a lot directly from the game as well as its own personality. P.S. I find Hawiian pizza rather tasty, though pepperoni & sausage are my go-to.

Prometheus might've been less forgettable if it had been more original. ๐ At the same time, it's far more sophisticated than Alien vs. Predator, on every conceivable level. The performances, the dialogue, the production design, the plot, the music, the visual effects... It's arguably less effective than AvP, but it had so much greater ambition, and I'll take an ambitious failure over a middling success every time. Still, did nobody at Fox ever ask "Why are we remaking AvP?" ๐ -
Unless you're a kid, does anyone really eat cheese only pizza? If it's the only slice left, I'll still reheat it with some pepperoni for my youngest, or I'll cut up some sausage links or patties to put some meat on the bloody thing.

Nah, British style is the worst. Corn has a weird texture on pizza. Pineapple has an awesome sweetness, especially on barbecue sauce
