    At this point, all the tension and mystery are gone; it's more of a gratuitous exercise in body counts at this point. I had high hopes when Prometheus was announced, and I do like Fassbender's creepy 'artificial person' David, but that movie was more of a bad mansplanation for how Earthlings and the xenomorph came about. I wish Scott had prolonged the mystery instead of spoon-feeding all the history to us. This show looks to add nothing new or interesting beyond the typical post-Aliens Alien film. I wasn't crazy about Romulus, so I hope this will be better than that at least. I think the tv series format offers the potential for the writers to put more flesh on the bone narrative-wise, and I hope what they've cooked up offers at least one or two surprises beyond the expected monster trope.

    Ugh.. obviously the gear are bare metal, but I don't think that integrated neck cover is doing fighter any favors at all. Now it's just got scoliosis. \ I do think the overall fighter profile is a bit better than the Yamato though. Better intakes (but still the same ugly knee gap), and the LEX looks like a better angle, making the nose look longer. Still want to see a top view, but I'll try and bite for one at least.

    Someone referred to B2 as a loyal doggo that misses his human. I never get that feeling from K-2SO. Bastard loves Cassian, but will happily kill anyone else (either physically or with his sarcasm).

    I have theory. B2emo's brain will be installed in K2so. Like how Lando's droid was installed in the Falcon. It would explain how they override the deflaut Imperial programming from taking over and how k2so acts.

    Caught the new episode of The Too-Perfect Saint today... the series as a whole is still a pretty unremarkable sort of otome anime. Not terrible, but very form letter. It's that weird kind of "my new perfect life" scenario you most often find in bad isekai titles. There's little sense of a plot or direction to the events thus far, since each episode after the first is mainly just a string of random encounters where people tell the newly arrived Lady Saint how amazing and wonderful and perfect she is for doing what she perceives as her normal workload.

    I'm just curious if there is anything that can be done about the time restrictions applied to the search functions. I can understand there being limits on making new searches, but the time limit applies to any function applied to an already completed one. Every time I need to perform a search, it seems like I'm slamming my face against my desk trying to actually view what it found, because I can't change pages, can't sort by date, can't really do anything with the results. I understand if that's just a forum software limit, so maybe that's something to take up with the developers (or something that might get fixed in a future update), but this behavior just feels baffling.

    I think the Bandai Star Wars model thread is long buried, but figure this is worth posting. Looks like they're re-issuing the PG 1/72 Falcon https://anime-export.com/index.php?product=91383 Deadline is the 30th of April, with a release at the end of July, so it might have been announced a while ago, and I just missed it.

    Indeed, it does look familiar... because that is the box art for the Hasegawa 1/72 scale Macross Zero F-14A++ Super Tomcat kit by Tenjin Hidetaka. (It's also found on page 42 of Valkyries: Tenjin Hidetaka Art Works of Macross AKA Valkyries: First Sortie.)

    The magnets are doing a great job of keeping the legs connected. So much weight has been added to this 1/55 due to so many modifications. But still, there is more to do.
