    I'm a little disappointed at the launch, to be honest. Considering how much fervor there is for this thing I'd expect more than Mario Kart as their leading launch title. Didn't they have enough time to develop games for thing? It's only been years in the making...

    are you ordering one? i need to wait to see how the tariffs pan out. i held off almost all import pre-orders that are dated that far out and mostly buying second hand items local.

    Well, I got the bundle with Mario Forza Kart Horizon, but I haven't committed to anything else at launch. It's a safe bet I buy the upgrades for BotW and TotK, but that might be it for me since I'm really only in it for 1st party games (almost everything else announced at the Nintendo Direct wound up on my Steam wishlist). Down the road, though, I'll probably be checking out Donkey Kong, and I'm 100% getting Metroid Prime 4 and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.

    Yeah, I got in on Prime right away, too. Did you do Deathsaurus? I eventually backed it, but not until Deathcobra was funded. I guess we'll see if it takes me longer to get him next year than all the early backers, or if there's some other method to their madness.

    Can you provide me a specific search example and what you are wanting to see vs what you actually see? Do you mean you can't do more than X number of searches in a 30s or something? That might be configurable in the setup

    I was going to sit this one out for a while as well, but it took me six years to find the Switch 1 on store shelves back in the day, so I figured I'd do myself a favor and get the console now. I managed to get a PO in with Best Buy on a whim. I did break a cardinal rule of mine, which is to never buy a system without a must-have game to go along with it. Is it silly to say that I'm hoping, waiting for a Starfox game? I'd buy a console just to play the next Starfox game. What games are you getting on launch day? Mario Kart is a given, and I love that series too, but once you've played a Mario Kart game you've pretty much played all of them. SIGH...

    Initially, I wrote that I watched more of Classic Stars today. But that didn't feel right. I subjected myself to more of Classic Stars today... because this series is so inscruitable and is so bad with exposition that watching it is like wrestling with an octopus in a completely lightless room. You're never quite certain what the hell is going on or why, and the whole proceeding feels more than subtly wrong.
