  1. Today
  2. Can't be bothered to find the post, but the A24 war movie Warfare is apparently getting rave reviews. I'll try to catch it this week, after Sinners.
  3. I kinda doubt it will make much. It may not even break even. The baby yoda stuff is all over the clearance isles and I don’t think that most people are excited about a movie sequel to the tv show. More people will probably be interested when it comes to streaming, but Star Wars overall as a franchise is probably in its worst shape in decades and has lost quite a few fans. Even semi decent shows on D+ are having a hard time getting an audience these days
  4. He seems small even after the mutation. At least he’s strong enough to knock a guy’s jaw off with one swing of his mop. Still looking forward to this since I still have a soft spot for Troma films and things with that kinda feel
  5. Yeah, the majority of the people are avoiding it because it costs a fortune to even just go to Disneyland these days. I used to know people that would go all the time, but none of them do that anymore and just seem to have switched to one of the other parks like magic mountain or universal studios
  6. Okay; if you'd like to restore him, I'll dig in my parts box and get out the spare stuff I have.
  7. The text mentions that there will be more info released on 04/24/25. This could mean that preorders will start at that point (or the day after) or that infos about the release, including the preorder date, will be released at that day.
  8. Most citadel can be thinned with water or alcohol, but if it’s their contrast shading stuff, they do have a contrast medium that also has a retarder if I’m not mistaken
  9. That may actually be how they get their money. A lot of the mobile suits like the Zaku were pretty much useless after the Gundam and probably just became easier to find after the war. Some seem barely repaired in the first episode, but I’d imagine they probably get their money from illegal betting. They probably just hide things in the slums since that area gets ignored for the most part. Probably mostly people that are junkers or construction that steal or refurbish parts. from the first episode, it doesn’t appear as though guns we’re mainly used compared to mele attacks and those Zakus looked like they had crane parts for replacing arms and such. at least so far the show feels less far fetched than unicorn and stuff after that
  10. no matter how big of a fan you are to Stellar Blade this is alot of money:
  11. Keep checking either the Mospeada pages or the moderoid ones. If anyone is gonna do it, it will probably be moderoid or the standard max factory plamax kits. Either way news gets posted over in the Mospeada section regularly
  12. Just resin kits for the Tread. Imai did a prototype but they had financial issues and it was never released-see the Mospead thread and search for "Imai"
  13. Hey, I noticed that the contents of one of my Citadel shading bottles is getting a bit too thick. What should I thin it down with before it tries up? IPA? Water?
  14. That seems unlikely. Char's capture of the Gundam completely derailed Mobile Suit and Mobile Armor development on both sides during the One Year War. It's implied that many of the familiar Zeon "enemy MS of the week" machines of the original Gundam series were either never developed or never completed and put into production because the Principality's government suspended current projects in favor of studying and reverse-engineering the captured Gundam. The Federation, likewise, had to cope with the loss of the Gundam prototypes to Zeon and proceeded to develop a Gundam-Guncannon hybrid machine called the Light Guncannon that became their main MS in place of the GM. One design that was confirmed to never be completed in this timeline is the MS-14 Gelgoog. It's mentioned in the timeline that its development was cancelled because of the Gundam's capture. Two that have been confirmed to still exist are the Braw Bro (now called Kikeroga) and the Big Zam, with the latter only being completed because of Dozle Zabi's administrative clout and ultimately being what gets him killed in this timeline too. Maybe. The whole duel thing in The Witch from Mercury was a pretty stupid plot device that was handled really poorly throughout the series and was one of several recurring Get Out of Jail Free cards for the characters. Clan battles in GQuuuuuuX seem like they'll be a lot worse, since random civvies and refugees living in illegally-built housing are probably not going to have a plausible source of money to afford to refurbish, repair, and resupply any kind of MS never mind an ex-military one. It's even harder to believe that they might be buying them from Zeon, since a MS doubtless costs the equivalent tens of millions of dollars. Installer keys sound like they were a postwar invention, meaning it's weird that any war surplus Zaku would need one unless it was specifically retrofitted to. Ones salvaged from battlefields by the junk guild shouldn't even have that system... or if they did, the key would surely still be inside the downed MS, since a MS with a surviving pilot would likely be recovered. (Unrelated... the installer keys are kinda big, aren't they? The starter keys for the Federation's GMs in Requiem for Vengenace were the size of thumb drives.) Probably.
  15. My Wally also did a reset recently and they moved their Transformers section, too. They're still in the same isle, just moved to the middle instead of being on the end conveniently next to a main aisle. I liked just being able to pop around the corner from the LEGO aisle to check the TF situation quickly, but both have been reset now so I have to travel the length of both to look at stuff. Anyway, I haven't seen much of the Primes stuff, although they did have a copy of Armada (AotP) Red Alert, and a few copies of Party Wallop which have been shelf-warming for a while now. Part of me wants to pick up Alchemist Prime if I see him, but I can't help but think he'll be retooled into Bulkhead, and I'd prefer that. They could say he's based on Animated Bulkhead, but I contend still that Legacy Bulkhead has far more in common with the Animated character, and Alchemist has far more in common and would translate well to Prime Bulkhead. I hope it happens, but I guess we'll see.
  16. I do. I kept him. He's just in two pieces like Bayformers Jazz. I hated that he had no articulation below the waist, so a Missing Link version of him would be grand.
  17. Has anyone EVER released a Tread kit? I want one.
  18. With the exception for SDFM and DYRL....all Macross series are no longer "Japan Market" only....
  19. My headcanon has always been that the Fire Valkyrie is just Hot Rod from Transformers who happened to scan the YF-19 on his way to Earth and just silently sticks around with Basara because he enjoys his antics. And the crazy thing is that Takara is somewhat entertaining this idea.
  20. Yesterday
  21. After looking at the images closely, I have concluded that only the top of the chest is the same mold. And maybe the forearms. I'm sure its safe to assume the sliding thruster spine is probably the same too, but that seems to be as far as common parts go, if you don't count the metal bits.
  22. Thanks. I’ll search for it.
