  1. Past hour
  2. Check out Skywalker Stories page on You Tube, really far better fan movie/ clips, than you know who.
  3. Another one.
  4. Really forget Disney,
  5. i do not know as i've never played it
  6. I was going to post an update on Friday, but got pretty busy. I have the next iterations to be printed for tomorrow and I'll post the results then.
  7. Holy Hand Mods Batman!! Never a fan of slat covers to keep the hands hidden. According to line art the fingers are always shown. They just appear as slats due to shadows from the housing when the fists are stowed.
  8. Today
  9. I never really wanted a ton of markings on the VF-17s anyhow, but yeah, the lack of the ones we did see in the show was pretty disappointing. I can't really say I was that upset about it personally, since I don't mind them being solid black, but that's one of the detriments of giving the customer too much choice.
  10. Yesterday
  11. As long as they stick to the 1-hour real time, I think I'll stick with The Pitt. I did finish the season and it was quite good. If they get around to making season 2, it's supposed to take place during the July 4th holiday (which is on a Friday in 2025). Gotta love humans playing with explosives combined with drinking and summer heat. My one request for a season 2 is more Night-shift. Maybe start the season on the middle or coming off the night-shift. The combination of Shen-Abbott-Ellis-Walsh was probably one of the best parts heading into the tail end of the season. Also cuz, as the saying goes, nothing good happens after 2AM. Also with July 4 falling on a Friday in 2025, you know people are going to set off fireworks in the dead of night. Really, I want more night-shift next season.
  12. Better question is what 'kits' is this... The blue is Monogram's 1/72 F-16XL, the light gray is Hasegawa's F-16D and the gear wells, seats and intake are from Tamiya's F-16CJ.
  13. Was it a miniature based rpg? That might have been fun to use some of the Actic gear little toys, if it was
  14. On April 14th, very reluctantly, I opened a PayPal case against WiseGuysHobbies @WiseGuyVic. They have until April 24th to respond. I'd really just like to receive the items I ordered, which aren't available via their eBay store.
  15. I imagine they would have to modify the main body to "take" some material from it to make up for the forearms. As for the knees: that's a bit more simple.
  16. Disney+ Star Wars is pretty problematic in general because it's run by Filoni and staffed by creatives who are mainly fans of Filoni's work on The Clone Wars. Ahsoka is kind of its logical extreme... a Disney+ original series by Filoni with a story that is composed almost exclusively out of callbacks to previous Filoni Star Wars titles. The sheer density of the callbacks, in-jokes, and homages is a problem in and of itself but the main problem with the writing is that it's a "The Adventure Continues" story where all of the characters are past the end of their respective story arcs and there's no clear direction in which they can continue to grow and develop. The story feels thin and directionless because it's not being driven by the development of the characters. It's just sort of happening in their general vicinity, because it's actually an Excuse Plot meant to set up the return of fan favorite BBEG Grand Admiral Thrawn after he went down like a Scooby-Doo villain at the end of Rebels.🤣
  17. @M'Kyuun You might be right about the arms, if it happens the arms would be very little, especially for the fists.
  18. For me THE PITT is the ultimate in is less is more, this show could be like so many others with being an over the top dramatic mess. This series just cuts to the chase and remains a story about doctors in an ER setting, with a dash of humor from time to time to lighten the mood. I like how they borrowed from 24's concept, as in every episode is one hour of Dr. Robby's shift. P.S. I'm not a big medical drama show fan either, but this one works for me.
  19. That was basically inevitable, though. The Mandalorians are Star Wars's Klingons. A culture of Proud Warrior Race Guys dogmatically following the vaguely Social Darwinist warrior code laid down by their culture's founding father to its often-counterproductive or self-destructive conclusion and love to invoke variations of the No True Scotsman whenever someone deviates. We saw this invoked directly in season 2 itself in how Din reacts to Boba Fett. Din Djarin initially refuses to give Boba Fett his armor back because beskar belongs (only) to the Mandalorians and Boba's Not a Real Mandalorian because he never took the Creed. Fett only gets his armor back after convincing Din that it's his by right of familial inheritence, since his father was a foundling raised by Real Mandalorians. Din violates the Creed to rescue Grogu from the Empire. According to the rigid and inflexible warrior code his people follow, he is Not a Real Mandalorian. So of course he has to go on a quest to restore his honor and become a Real Mandalorian again, because the show's title is The Mandalorian not Technically a Mandalorian or That Guy Who Isn't a Real Mandalorian but Wears Mandalorian Armor. It's basically obligatory. It's basically the same as Worf's big story arc in Star Trek: the Next Generation. Worf loses his honor for the greater good, but as a result is Not a Real Klingon. He then has to live with the shame and the scorn of his people for a while before he has the opportunity to reclaim his honor and become a Real Klingon again. Leaving him permanently dishonored was literally never on the table to begin wtih.
  20. The ML Seeker would pose a little challenge, as the arms were a bit short and the hands were separate bits that had to be "partsformed". I love the transformation of the arms, though, and the only other Seeker toy to fold the arms into the F-15's spine was part of the Robot Masters line. albeit done much better. If Takara simply followed that toy's solution with a ML design, I think it'd work well. Honestly, I wish every Seeker toy followed that design, as well as more jetformers in general to reduce the number of jets with robot arms just hanging off their sides.
