Personally, I'd like a Missing Link Tracks, as he's one of my few childhood Transformers that didn't survive and also one that turns into an awesome flying car.- 17082 replies

The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post

Keep an eye on Keruyan's account, he finished a cool SDF-1 recently. -
I only applied three stickers: Curtesy of the Macross Mecha Manual: https://macross2.net/m3/macross7/vf-17s-nightmare.htm The rest of the stickers are hard to apply and look good since they are clear backed and have huge transparent areas of sticker material that need to be carefully trimmed (without damaging the marking) to make them look proper. It is a shame that Yamato didn’t even apply the base level markings. If you want to make it look stealthy, why even paint the yellow stripes.

Thank you for your references. I'll take some inspiration from those images if I'll decide to go on with stickers.

I would be interested in a ML Grimlock. But that means I would want the rest of the G1 Dinobots too and I don’t think this will happen.- 17082 replies

I’m not really a medical drama kinda guy, but I was finding that the drama behind the show is kinda entertaining. I didn’t realize it was originally gonna be an ER reboot. From my understanding they couldn’t get the holders of Michael Crichton’s rights for the show to sign off on it, so they basically had the writers and producers and some actors for the old show in this show, but under different names and locations and now there’s a bunch of above my head legal drama going on over the Pitt.

While that'd be nice it's my understanding that the original molds for the Dinobots were either lost or degraded/destroyed. Then again, I'd heard the same thing about Hound, and Walmart relatively re-released him in the animation accurate colors, and there's supposed to be decent KOs of them out there, so...🤷♂️- 17082 replies

HBO's THE PITT, Episode 8... hard hitting scenes, by far one of the best shows out there. Anyone know when the final season of BIG MOUTH is supposed to release?

I appreciate it, but don't worry about it. Just checked my stash and all I have left of Prowl is the upper torso. I thought I'd saved the legs, but if I did, they're not with the rest of Prowl in the box where I keep most of my old G1 toys which means I have no idea where they are or if I binned them at some point. The latter is unlikely b/c I rarely throw stuff like that away, but at this point, my interest in replacing or restoring him had all but waned in light of the various modern toys I own. A Missing Link version is the only version of G1 Prowl that really interests me at this point. I certainly appreciate the offer, though. Way too kind. NGL, I'd be tempted to pick up the other variants of the Fairlady Z bros. I just love that design. That they used it to make three different characters in Transformers in addition to the lovely blue Bluestreak Diaclone just means more of that mold in the collection, generally. ML's kinda expensive, so I think I'd limit myself to Prowl, my favorite deco for that mold. While I love the Dinobots, I'm not sure if I'd go in on a set of ML versions, as they'd be pricey and between my Fans Toys Dinobots, my Newage Dinobots, and my SS86 Dinobots, I've got really well-done figs across three scales in my collection that already represent a lot of money and space dedicated to those loveable brutes. While ML is obviously a novel approach, and while I'd appreciate having the whole team, at some point I have to hit the brakes. Oh, and I also have the CW Dinos and Takara's MP Grimlock, but I don't consider them to be as polished as the aforementioned figs/teams. Yeah, Jazz was somewhat similar but still distinct. I got him as a kid, too, (Christmas surprise) and I still have him. The little clear plastic loop that lets his hood and roof slide broke decades ago, but there's still enough of it intact that it stays on the fig. I'd be a little tempted to get an ML version of him too. Oh Nostalgia, you parter of man and his money!- 17082 replies

Same; it'd be a no brainer for Bluestreak, Prowl and Smokescreen. Plus, if the can ML Prowl, they can also do the same for Jazz (similar size and transform, though not the same). I also would hoe they;d have a "blue" Bluestreak variant as well.- 17082 replies

They made a solid choice for the recasting of Baylan (can't think of a better choice then the hound, not exactly the same character type but close and the actor has the demonstrated talent to pull it off). Unlike other Disney Star Wars shows Ashoka did not suffer as badly, Thrawn was a let down and the writing for Ahsoka herself was uninspired but there is a chance the show can learn from the mistakes of the first season.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu - May 22, 2026
Seto Kaiba replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Maybe they all die out. After all, that their warrior culture is so toxic and so incredibly self-destructive that they'd already practically destroyed themselves several times before the Empire ever rolled up to finish things is a recurring theme with them. It'll make bank. Count on it. Above all else, it's a safe project that leans heavily on well-established and well-received characters that've tested well in merchandising already. Unlike Solo, it's a sequel rather than a prequel, so they won't fall prey to the many perils of writing backstory for an already-established character either. It probably won't set the world on fire, but between Baby Yoda and its mindless summer action movie potential of Din John Wick-ing his way through an army of hapless stormtroopers it'll probably do respectable business at the box office.- 57 replies

That a second season exists is a pretty solid argument that they haven't. No matter how many fanservice-y callbacks Filoni et. al. throw in, at its core Ahsoka is still a completely unnecessary sequel to Rebels that goes nowhere and adds nothing to the characters or their story.

Whats Lying on your Workbench MK IV
nightmareB4macross replied to Urashiman's topic in The Workshop!
I should add, it’s best to keep your empty jars to make goop for any project or repair. - Left PW with chopped up feet parts from 1/55 - Center PW - Right PW with chopped up bits of ABS and Styrene. This is a good blend that also adheres to metal. FYI. The hand in this pic has it on the back to increase its girth. Once it dries I sand it to shape and ready for prime and paint. -

Thanks. I use two: 1. Tamiya Putty Basic Type for fine filling fine lines and scratches. 2. Plastruct Weld with ABS and Styrene scrap all turned into filler and strengthening bonds. Just be careful with this as it does take a day or three to cure depending on how much you apply. But once it on, it stays on. -
I did. I based it on the markings of F-117A. https://www.flickr.com/photos/84672656@N05/albums/72157632574652338/with/8400932714 I actually have slightly more on the 103 version I did but I apparently don't have photos of that. There are some extra no steps around bell bottoms, and some intake markings too. I left the large 102 off of the side of the chest behind the cockpit in fighter and instead placed two smaller 103's on each side beneath the cockpit instead. I didn't use the grey colored decals because the edges showed more. Carving the white decals looked better and gave slightly more contrast.

Thanks. The seller had a photo of the runners and it looked very simple. Hope I have enough putty seeing it’s an old kit. 🤣
