G.T.C. is the BEST source for vintage Macross model collecting anywhere. Ron runs the shop himself, and is very knowledgable (he has many stories about the kits which I've included on the site. Thanks Ron!). GTC has been around for over 25 years now!! I have been ordering from him for since early 1999, and have had nothng but sucess. His selection is unbelievable. Arii, Imai, Nichimo..you name it! He still has almost the entire line of kits produced from the series, and is always getting in new ones. There are over 185 kits for Macross alone in the catalog! Time from order to delivery is about 4 weeks. The small wait is worth it!
His current catalog is dated 1994 (He was working on the new one when his computer was stolen!!), but he has almost every kit still in stock. You only need to inquire about a price change! Prices for many kits have only increased by a few dollars in the last couple years than what is in the catalog. Prices below are as of December 1999.
The catalog is available for $3.00, and well worth it... it is a great reference guide for the Macross kits. It consists of 14 pages of kit listings(all kinds of Anime and science fiction kits...original kits from Mospeada,Southern Cross, Gundam, Yamato,Orguss,SF3D,Robotech and many others!), and 14 pages of model box tops showing the incredible box art of the time.
I have asked Ron if I could show you a sample of the kits he offers and he said it would be great! I chose the wonderfulf models from Imai. When he gets another computer he said he is going to create a web page for his store...Now that will be a great site!!
Oh yeah..his hours are Monday-Thursday 12 noon to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 12 noon to 5:20pm (all central time)
