Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Maybe I should post this in the Garland By Yamato Tread, but since nobody there seems to know much about this toy and since it's not made by Yamato, I thought I draw a more "specialized" attention this way. The page is from some guy that is making a fully transformable Garland, and apparently his last update is from october 2005. I can tell that much. That and the fact that so far, his Garland is looking way better than Yamato's. I can't read japanese and I'd like to know if this is a toy or a garage kit or if it'll be released eventually or not. Any help from people that reads japanese or people who knows about this project will be much appreciated. Thanks! http://blue.ap.teacup.com/applet/mustang/m...te8/archive?b=5 Quote

Vermillion21 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 The cycle-bike thing looks very cool!! Dunno what it is, but it looks like a custom toy to me .... Quote
drifand Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Yeah, it's a scratch-built Garland. That's quite an investment of time and effort! Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 So it's safe to assume that we'll never see this baby in stores. Too bad. As I said the bike mode proportions and overall accuracy is way better than Yamato's and Max Factory's is still months away. Thanks, guys. I'll follow this guy's progress. Quote
Twoducks Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Wow, that scratch-build looks great! Shame on you Yamato Quote
Fort Max Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I've seen this before (think it was posted in the garland thread) & while it is awesome I'm glad Yamato made their version affordable because Max Factorys sure as hell isn't going to be. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 8, 2006 Author Posted June 8, 2006 We should encourage this guy to mass produce his Garland Quote
eugimon Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 wow. I love this guy! Instead of battying about something, he just went out and made it the way he wanted. Amazing! Quote
