THE YAMATO BOOTH
Onto the main event of the show, well for me anyway and probably most Macrossworld members.............................the Yamato booth. Please note I didn't take pics of any of Yamatos super robot toys or character figures as I have no interest in those.
First up, we have photos of Yamato's upcoming 1/60 scale SV-51 toy in D.D. Ivanov color scheme, sheduled for release around the middle of this year. The toy was only on display in fighter mode, and was a resin sculpt, not a ABS plastic sample.
As well as getting a clear look for the first time at the display stand that will be included with the toy, Yamato were also showing off the weapons that the toy will come with. The big surprise is that the overwing boosters will be included as standard with the toy.
In person, the toy is pretty long and is extremely sleek and slender, far more so than the 1/60 scale VF-0A/S and YF-19 fighters, which look bulky in comparison.

Next up a few shots of the 1/60 YF-19 with Fold Booster and FAST Packs Attached. Actualy the first pic is just a bare YF-19, but I thought I'd show it anyway. The flashing LEDs on the fold booster are great, changing between several different colors and gradually speeding up then slowing down again.

Here we have Yamato's 1/48 scale Urban Camoflage GBP-1S armor, due for release anytime now. Looks neat, but I'm somewhat disappointed that the markings are still stickers rather than being Tampo printed on.

A couple of 1/15 scale Garlands, including the baby-poo colored military Garland and a standard color one that comes with an extra girl figure (sorry Mega Zone 23 fans, I forget the name of the character). Not sure if this is going to be a general sale item or is the one that comes with the DVD set, I forgot to ask.

Now for the other big surprise of the show, Yamato's upcoming transformable 1/15 scale Motoslave toy from Bubble Gum Crisis. Looks great, but boy is it small!

Here we have Yamato's upcoming 1/12 scale Red Sholder Custom Scopedog with full weapons. I understand that the weapons will be sold both together with the Scopdog and also as an accessory set.

Finally, another surprise from Yamato, a 1/24 scale IR remote Control Turbo Custom Scopedog. It rolls not walks. Two toys can fight it out as the toy is equipped with an IR firing gun and a mechanism for registering hiots form your opponent.
